Dang it, it didn't show up. Probably something in the program.
My entry:
Don't save as a bmp. Use either jpg or png. Bmps are worthlessly oversized. Plus they don't behave online, as you noticed.
Also, you're going to have to crop all that dead space off. Right now it's too big to be allowed. I highly recommend ditching MSPaint and heading over to www.GIMP.org and getting a better image processor. You'll be amazed at the difference in power. (Gimp is also free: a huge turn-on )
Or, if you have loads of cash with which you have nothing better to do, there's always the king of image editors: Adobe Photoshop CS2. That's what I use. I've never actually used Gimp (tried to once, but just as an experiment...went right back to CS2 because it was more familiar), but I have a hard time thinking it can hold a candle to the raw amazingness of CS2.
But I didn't because the banner looked too serious for a funny line like that. So if anyone wants to make a funny banner and use that line, be my guest.
Quick question - do we have to use Magic art? If so, I will be a sad pup, since I just spent a couple of hours making this out of screenshots from my Monty Python DVD.

No, you don't, but you must link to all non-magic art you use.
Hrmm... That might be difficult, since, like I said, I made it out of screenshots I took myself from a DVD that I own. I'll see what I can do...
Hopefully this will suffice. I've attached a shrunk down compilation of all the screenshots I used. I couldn't attach the original things since they were ~1mb bitmap files.
I really like icefire's and ford's, they are just amazing. I like line in icefire's one.
@Mr.Stuff i didn't use mtg art

Nice entry fogatog and 20' widescreen is SWEEEEEEEEEET
A twenty foot screen would be sweet. But in all seriousness a 20'' screen is an envious possession. Make for some easier editing w/o having to scroll and reposition Toolbars, etc.

EDIT:: Here it is... I doubt I'll do very well with this, being a looonnnggg time since I've worked with GIMP... Anyway, here's mine.
Pff... Mine doesn't have a chance 'gainst Amandi and Topher....
Done in the GIMP... First bit of image editing I've done in a while. I really need to get back in the habit.

Not just a blended art banner! I used gradient brushes this time! (the better of which are hidden by the black bar)
