I tried to take a few more things into account this time around. I feel I am making progress and I am spending a little more time going back to the basics. This is just a hiccup of the amount of tutorials I am doing at the moment and I am seeking out skilled individuals online to aid in my learning process.
Beautiful distortion work, especially on the Cuchulainn.
Just a suggestion, when the foreground contains a very sharp image (like the robot or pink dinosaur thing) it's good to make sure the background contains at least some element of sharpness.

Another attempt with a more complex render.
