However what i really like atm is the piece cardkitty just put up on the ol'auction house. I'm sure she will post pictures of it later, but damn that's a beauty xP.
@Stoyrm: Yes I am posting it in the forum. This is my most ambitious project yet. It was a tough decision though because the art is very green, but I wanted to put it on a tutor card that was more played (ie. Mystical over Worldly). I'm hoping that the blue liquid being mixed will help keep the blue flavor. At any rate, I'm hoping that some folks will really like a more divergent alternate artwork.
@CK: lol would you expect any less? Really nice Mystical, CK!
It DOES feel pretty green. It's the background and tree looking table and pot, mostly.
I feel like a color scheme shift would get it to be more blue.

This is in fact my favourite artwork of you, EVER. I'll bid. But your pieces go for far to much for me usually :|. But i will definitely try to add this piece to my edh deck if it doesn't end up way to high :). Just GREAT work.

that's a mighty nice 150$ bill right there CK =] I'd pay that much for that card no doubt. jesus.

it truly pains me to see beautiful alters, and then see that the artist overlapped borders and made them look crooked and out of place. protip: pick up some scotch removable tape, throw it down around the border you don't want touched. after you put the tape down, pick up translucent matte' medium and apply it on the edges with a brush. this will seal the tape (which when it comes up, doesnt rip your card) and if any paint were to get under the tape, the medium sucks the pigment up and makes it dry clear.
"I observe the slights and degradations cast by arrogant persons upon
laborers, the poor, and upon negroes, and the like;
All these--all the meanness and agony without end I sitting look out upon,
See, hear, and am silent."
That works on canvas pretty well, but the medium isn't necessary on a surface as smooth as a card AND Scotch Tape does a great job of sticking too much to the card. So, when you peel it up it can take a lot of the surface with it. If you do want to mask, use painter's tape, low-tack artist tape, or airbrush frisket. Ooooor, just clean up with a slightly damp toothpick. I high advise against Scotch Tape.
I've started using the toothpick method dry immediately after each layer of paint. I find it works a lot better if you hit the paint while it’s still a little tacky. Also some basic art extensions I did as part of my blog on Medina's new pack to power site. Up for grabs if anyone’s interested.
Also been done before but some newframe old image bolts

I ran across this art a few weeks ago on deviantArt and fell in love with it! You just made it that much better! Fantastic job!
Did a couple more today. The batteries in my camera went out so I had to scan them.
This one is for my EDH deck. I'm working on altering the entire thing.
This one scanned poorly. The difference in reflectivity between the paint and the card really showed up leading to some color issues. Which is sad because it looked great in person...

These two are impressive, although the color matching could be a bit better on Slaver. I honestly had to re-look at it to even notice though, b/c you pulled off the 'grittiness' so well. Really nice work on these.
Some things I was gettin' ready to find homes for...
The yawg will was a fix of an OLD one I did years ago that I found in a box.
I was like, "Oh! With like 15 min you could be a fresh $20 bill"
I'm really proud of the Ajani, I love how it came together.
Also, a picture of my workstation! It is FILTHY today, but eh whatever, I've been painting like mad.
I love how there is an Imperial Seal just chillin'
It's MIIINE ^^.
Also, love the Will.

So after reading Klugs tutorial I have been doing some alters of my own:
First and second ones: Tokens to test out the tutorial:
Seeing that it went ok, I wanted to try smt else:
And then I found out that I wanted to start a project including all the characters form the Straw Hat Pirates crew (3/9)
(next up is Nico Robin on a Gilded Lotus and Sogeking on Basilisk Collar, stay tuned)
I have used Citadel Paint on all alters, but Im going to invest in Golden Acrylics as soon as I find out what colors I need (help plx^^).
Feel free to comment=D
Edit: forgot to attach a alter John Avon did for me at gp Gothenburg
Reason for the cats face is if you look at the Japanese way of writing mountain it looks like a cats face, so I had to get that one done^^
