Alright, third alter attempt! Here is a Fact or Fiction. I apologize for the lack of originality, I am still very much in my practicing stages.
Here, I did all my "inking" with paint, using a 18/0 liner, as opposed to a pen which was used in my previous "cartoony" alter. I find I can make thinner, straighter lines this way. Hope everyone likes. Criticism welcome. Thanks!!
I really like the FoF, very clean lines and coloring. Keep em coming!
I just wanted to chime in and say that I would love to participate in a site sponsored competition. Also, the quality of work on here is really going up, and you guys totally inspire me, and I'm glad this little community is thriving, and I love you all
Sandreline-
Absolutely AMAZING pieces. I love the BSA and Time Reversal.
Um...I feel I should point this out so you don't do it again though, on the Nicol Bolas, "enemys" should be "enemies"....

You have not lived until you have seen this. If you are asian and have not heard of SNSD, shame on you! If you're a westerner, its ok, you're excuse. But seriously, check them out! I would love to have a navigator like that saying: "Aye aye cap'n"

Love the work!!
Alright guys and gals, I haven't posted any alters for some time, mostly due to overtime at work and the exceptional great weather during the last couple of weeks here in Germany.
Another point was that I felt somehow unhappy with the paints I use (Talens Amsterdam, Liquitex); it seems I sometimes have to put a lot of effort in my work to get a certain result and whenever someone in this forum posted that he finished his alter in ~ two hours, I was like "yeah, sure, that's something you can tell your granny"
Anyhow, I thought I'd give Golden Fluid Acrylics a try. Paint from Golden is hard to get over here and really expensive. The few vendors offering it demand your soul or at least a few bars of gold for a small bottle. Luckily Galspanic encouraged me to try Golden despite the horrible price. Thanks again for that!
Today I made a small experiment to compare the paint I've been using so far with my new paint from Golden and thought I'd share the results with the community:
I applied two thin layers of Titanium White, Zinc White and Phthalo Green on the backside of two Magic cards. On the left hand side, you can see the paint I've been using so far, and on the right hand side Golden Fluid. The result is quite obvious, isn't it? Golden's Titanium White is clearly more opaque than that from Amsterdam's Expert Series. Two layers of Amsterdam's standard Zinc White are even barely visible, which is definitely a little to transparent for card altering. Golden's Phthalo Green is also more opaque than his comrade from Liquitex Basic, in addition the color seems more vivid to me.
What else? The dry paint from Golden feels different than the other paints, it feels like a thin plastic cover that is also harder to damage (fingernail *cough*).
All in all, the impression I got makes me regret a little that I didn't try these paints earlier: Golden Fluid seems a very good choice for card altering. Maybe that's not a suprise for those of you who have a grade in art, but maybe it's a useful insight for all the other regular guys with a brush (like me).
I am really looking forward to using the new paints, here's a pic of my "studio":
I love that forest its freaking amazing I love the half covering thing its a really cool way to go.

After having been announced, but while still on the stack, Little Girl is vulnerable to Rethink, Fervent Denial, and/or Remove Soul. However, after Little Girl enters play, you'll have to use something like Donate to get rid of it.
Going to start with golden fluid acrylics, any specific colors I should get? also brushes?
