Ok so I haven't played magic since I was 13 or so maybe a little younger and back then I was really heavy into it. I have about 10 decks of older style cards maybe more. Back then I was a kid and no other kids played magic they played Pokemon or others so I quit pkaying.so fast forward 12 years or so and my buddy comes to my house and breaks out some magic cards. So we started to play. He was teaching me how to play as it had been so long I had no clue on how to play anymore. So basically I'm wanting to get back into the game I still have tons of old cards which aren't exactly useful. I mean I can play my elf deck and destroy everything he has but they are out dated cards so it doesn't really benefit me. So any help or feedback on where to begin would be awesome thank you all
Depending on how old your cards are, Vintage and Legacy are both great formats that involve older cards. Alternatively, there's also EDH, which is a popular casual format, or Pauper if you have a lot of commons. See what's popular at your local game store, or if you can get a group together!
