I know there is no Legendary phoenix in the game and there are few even so, but what are the closest generals at the moment who could ressemble and be used if your were playing a phoenix tribal deck? (This is just a curious question)

There is a lot of different routes you can go with your deck's flavor. It really comes down to what colors you want to play and what sort of theme you want to push with Phoenix tribal.
Jaya is probably the best mono red choice. Plus she looks like the kinda chick that would work with Phoenix.

**** this site. I'd delete this account but that doesn't seem to be an option. The mods here are ******* useless ********s who ban people for simple ass normal words. **** them and **** this site.
I ran Shard Phoenix and Magma Phoenix in Ashling with no regrets, though the former was later cut. Magma on the other hand has been wonderful, even without Ashling.
Whatever you choose, make sure you include Chandra Ablaze! You get to really use her +1 to it's full potential, which makes Chandra's Phoenix and Skarrgan Firebird fantastic. Discard, deal 4, get it back. Her -2 is also good with the phoenix's because, well, you're getting them back later.
Unfortunately, you only have 11 Phoenix's to work with and one of them is 5 color (Worldheart Phoenix), but hey, you could make it five color.
If I might suggest adding basilisk collar... equipped to a Magma Phoenix... good times with that synergy lol...
I got one a little better.
Get yourself Warstorm Surge or Pandemonium out along with Magma Phoenix. Equip Scythe of the Wretched to Jaya Ballard, Task Mage (or some other creature that will kill the bird), and kill the phoenix. It will then come back into play with Scythe attatched to it, Warstorm will trigger, so you target itself, deals 5 damage to itself, then it dies and deals 3 to everything, and comes back into play with Scythe attached. Infinite damage to everything =P
I don't think it counts as a "tribal" deck unless there's some sort of synergy from having the same creature type, and I don't see any phoenixes that have any synergy with each other, besides stuff like adaptive automaton and brass herald.
Jaya does have a little synergy with some of the phoenixes, though, so if you want to synergize around her discard then that could work. Although squee will still be better than paying a bunch of mana to return a phoenix to your hand.
My vote is for Jaya Ballard, Task Mage because I actually do run a Jaya deck with phoenixes because they tend to make great discard outlets aside from Squee, Goblin Nabob.

G Ezuri, Renegade Leader, Fighting for Rivendell
WU Brago, King Eternal, Long Live the King
WUBRG Scion of the Ur-Dragon, Worship the Dragon
Homura, Human Ascendant has a rebirth angle to him.
Sedris, the Traitor King gives every one of your creatures the ability to come back to life, albeit temporarily.
Squee, Goblin Nabob has self recursion.
Brion Stoutarm gives you a nice sacrifice outlet for your Phoenix.
Jaya Ballard, Task Mage as a discard outlet to abuse the Phoenix recursiveness.
Kresh, the Bloodbraided also takes advantage of the constant death/rebirth.
Malfegor would be interesting pitching your hand, wiping your opponent's board, and then rebirthing your Phoenix army next to their Demon Dragon overlord.
Ryusei, the Falling Star for a flying/dying heavy theme.
Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper makes your Phoenix deaths more profitable.
Thraximundar plays well with a heavy sacrifice build.
Thromok the Insatiable can get real big real quick when it eats them.
Tibor and Lumia for more flying based decks.

Jaya ballad Pheonixes seems like it could be a ton of fun.
I think I will need a stack of card draw without discard to keep her running

Red doesn't have a lot of recursion beyond the phoenixes.... If I want to use phoenix as a tool to fee someone like Jaya that also attacks well
squee might better but he is one creature in a colour with few tutors.
also a lot of the pheonixes need to come from play to return to hand as well which leads to more options.
