Hi all. I already make a post but he's been lost beyond reach. I propose here to work on a build for Xantcha. Seem really have potential, and she's have a very original design.
And now the strategie. I have build it in a very aggressive direction, where we want to deals a lots of damage in a short time. I added some goodies for make Xantcha more difficult to die, and some discard too.
But some problem have appears. First, players dont really use xantcha abilities. Second, the deck is slow, and the Xantcha's buff card are often dead card. And third, the worst, the sacrifice. That really annoying, cause I dont find no answer to that, and card like Dictate of Erebosruin all the fun.
So I need your help to find the best ways to make this commander reliable. Here's we go!
Here's the decklist I'm currently using. My strategy is to make Xantcha unblockable and do 4 damage to all creatures alot. Nim deathmantle can help with opponent sac outlets unless they are freely repeatable.

The way you're playing it, I think Underworld Dreams and some discard would be nice. (Maybe Liliana's Caress?) You could also use Exquisite Blood to gain life as they lose life. (Which of course suggests a combo.)
Needs moar red instants to properly take advantage of Braid of Fire.
You could use goad and Threaten effects to go Voltron.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
