This is not about Godo, Bandit Warlord being your commander. This is about having him as part of your 99.
I couldn't help but noticed with Helm of the Host that you can get infinite attacks with Godo. He is of course able to tutor it up and put it into play. So he basically becomes a one card win-condition.
Even if your opponents have a wall of blockers, the Godo copies will be doing damage to them and eventually they will get through.
The question is, "would you play both these cards in your deck, as simply a way to win?". No extra possible synergy, just straight up, play one card to try and win.
It would probably on average require waiting a turn, as you need the 5 to equip as well. But with 11 mana it's an instant win.
I won't do that, just like how I don't ever put Kiki-Jiki and Zealous Conscripts in the same deck, or Mike + Trike, or any other such tired win condition. Because doing so is incredibly freaking boring, and I care about games being fun and interesting a lot more than I care about winning.
It would probably require waiting a turn, unless you have haste, and you need the 5 to equip.
No haste needed - the Helm just needs to be equipped to create a token, not have the equipped creature attack.
As for the poll, I'm undecided. I currently run Godo (and Aurelia) in my Boros Voltron deck which already runs a ton of ways to cheat on equip costs, so I might run it there regardless of Godo synergy. I'm not crazy about that kind of "oops I win" effect, though, and I'm not sure if my deck has enough fair synergy with it to make me want to slot it in.

Speaking of Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, if you equip him with Helm of the Host then you can make infinite tokens, as you can tap to make a copy of the non-legendary version of himself, ad infinitum. They would all be tapped, except for one, so unless you had additional like Purphoros, God of the Forge, you'd have to wait until the end of opponents turn to make them all. Then you'll get them all untapped to be able to attack, as they don't go until the end of your turn.
In that deck I already had a combo to instantly win that is Neheb + aggravated assault + a damage source like Kumano, Master Yamabushi or Lightning-Rig Crew + enough damage/mana to start rolling and ping opponents to death. Otherwise that is always fun to slap that helm on Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs or any other useful creature. I am not rebuilding that deck to help the Godo + helm combo.
I will keep that helm in for now because that combo is still new and mono red need some more ways to win.

I am actually running these in a deck I built for my daughter, but I am running them for other reasons. Godo was already in the deck (a Saskia deck), to get some of the awesome equipment she was running (like Sunforger). When the Helm came out, I wanted it for its interaction with Saskia herself. I'm not taking either card out, as they are both good individually for what the deck is doing, and their potential to be infinite is just a nice side bonus. (I'm running Aurelia, too, which is also sweetly infinite with the Helm.)
But my meta is pretty good with spot removal, too, so this isn't going to be a reliable win-con, just a cool one for when it goes off.
I actually had to sit and think about it for a minute, but I don't think I would.
For mono-Red, or Boros, maybe. Maaaaaaaybe. But I think I would be more inclined to play Kiki+Conscripts. I know it's a 2-card combo versus a one-card combo, but... I think Kiki and Conscripts are just better cards. And by a large margin, too.
If you asked me whether or not I would play either of these cards, individually, in a deck, my answer would probably be "hell no." I do remember a day when using Godo to fetch 'clamp or Swords was good enough, but I haven't seen that in a while. Helm by itself seems real bad.
Kiki and Conscripts aren't like, mad auto includes by themselves either. But they at least do something. Godo does something, too, but Helm does mad nothing.
Once you start branching out of mono-Red or Boros, the options just start getting so much better.
It's a pretty valuable thing to keep in mind though. There aren't a lot of true one-card win-conditions.
The combo also (kind-of) bricks if you draw the helm. You can lay it early, yeah, but then it's vulnerable to at least a whole extra turn of removal (or costs considerably more mana).
Only 1 godo per attack pause though. (Until you swing for win. Get fogged and then get wreaked for having no blockers. (Or just 1)
Pretty sure all those Godos can fetch a Hammer of Nazahn, then start throwing equipment onto the original (including a haste piece) and give it vigilance and an Argentum Armor to wreck everyone anyways.
I run both in the 99 of my Kari Zev, Skyship Raider deck. Godo, Bandit Lord was already in the list and it has an equipment subtheme, so slotting in Helm of the Host was fairly easy. That said, I play it more as a backup win condition in that deck to bring an end to games that drag out too much, so the Helm isn't going to be the main item for me to tutor for with Godo.

makes ssnse, but unless you are running a dedicated godo or voltron deck, that will not be the case.

Examples of if you were to play it but would like to synergies around it more.
Hammer of Nazahn, Brass Squire, Magnetic Theft to speed up the equip process.
I'm sure there are heaps of other cards that could help, or at least give value more to these two cards in your deck.
But really the crux of the question, is whether you see the value in just running these two cards as part of your win-condition packages?
