So I'm building a Bant Morph deck. I had one I played several times on MTGO and I loved it so much that I'm building it in paper especially since I don't really play on MTGO anymore. The problem is, I can't remember what all was in the deck. Specifically one of the issues I'm having is in regards to my strict paper budget. Now, updating the creatures and a lot of the other things has been easy enough its the removal, sweepers, tutors, and card draw packages that I'm having a hard time recreating. I feel like removal and sweepers kind of build themselves though so I'm not really worried about that.
Here's the question:
What about doing an Investigate package for card draw? I do like the investigate mechanic but I hate that it requires an extra investment to get the draw. However, Tamiyo's Journal turns that card draw into straight up tutors. I feel like that works well with this deck since you kind of want to drop all of the creatures face down and flip up at instant speed. If you don't flip then you spend the money cracking clues. Or if you have enough clues & the Journal you just free tutor once per turn at instant speed. Seems good to me?
Thoughts & opinions?
(Please remember this is a budget deck.)

I've found investigate a decent mana sink if you have the spare. In that respect, obviously it depends what else you're running (Kruphix, God of Horizons is in colour for you - reasonably cheap). The best iterations I've found are Tireless Tracker and Tamiyo's Journal to be the strongest iterations, although Ulvenwald Mysteries is decent too. Also, the mechanic works really well with 'the number of artifacts matter' cards, FWIW. Could be good with The Antiquities War for an instant army or some such thing?
Sounds like a decent plan budget wise, although Tireless Tracker ain't budget anymore.
