Sin Prodder So i managed to pick up a pair during the prerelease last night, and I'm excited to run him, but beyond a damage matters deck(Rakdos, Lord of Riots), what kinds of decks would actually love to have him?
i feel like the only other deckstyle that might want him would be Xenagod or another GR deck that's more creature based(looking at you Ruric Thar)thaty really needs card "draw"
Kaalia of the Vast usually plays big demons/dragons/angels. Shame the creature type doesn't line up, but it does fuel your hand a bit in very dry colors or act like a preemptive warstorm surge. Also reanimation colors.
Feldon of the Third Path. Just like Alesha, your opponent's can pick either option and you still benefit greatly from the extra card. It doesn't have an etb trigger for feldon reviving it, but you can pull one up at your opponents' last end step to get one for your upkeep. Feldon also plays a lot of big creatures since he wants to mill+rez them into play.
I don't think its terrible. Its not competitive or a staple, but its a cute option for red which is traditionally very dry. Obviously better in battleship metas.
Could fit into Animar as a more incremental win when you're not going infinite. Animar gives very few ****s about a creature's CMC, and none about that little number in a circle.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
He seems worse in EDH than he does in constructed (where he's already really bad). Guy is a limited powerhouse for sure, but outside of some specific builds that can really exploit him, I just don't see you EVER getting what you want from this guy in here. Pulled a foil at my prerelease and I am snap selling it as soon as possible, he is going to tank hard.
Thinking about it I could see prodder go into a recusion-based Daretti build. He likes having artifacts in the yard and any card you get to keep can be turned into an extra draw with darettis rummage.
Probably not a priority choice but it could be playable atleast

Alesha, Who Smiles at Death. Doesn't matter which one they pick, Alesha profits either way.
