For those of you who don't follow this forum religiously (and shame on you if you don't), there have been a few new changes to this forum.
First, you may remember this thread, in which a number of members requested that the 1 vs 1 subforum be split into two separate subs, one for the multiplayer ban list, and another dedicated to the Duel Commander format. After much deliberation with the staff, as well as some conversations with members of the Duel Commander Rules Committee, we decided that this was a great opportunity to help the growth of the format and have split the two into dedicated subforums. You can read more about Duel Commander and its members in our latest Word of Command article.
Second, we have added two new moderators to our roster, Arithine and Jivanmukta. With my advancement to site administrator that left only bobthefunny and ISBPathfinder able to dedicate most of their time to this forum, and ISB's time is already divided between multiple forums. Commander has consistently been one of the largest and most active forums on MTG Salvation, so we prefer to keep a larger roster in this area. We were both surprised and impressed with the number of applicants we had, and wish we had space for more of you. Thank you to all who applied. Ultimately, we had to make some difficult choices for our two open positions. Please welcome our new moderators, who you may already be familiar with from around the forums.
Arithine has done tremendous work in the Primer Committee and in the overall Commander forums community, improving the quality of the forums as a whole. We feel that bringing her on into the moderator team can only further help us in making this one of the premier online Commander communities. Jivanmukta has a strong presence in the Commander forums overall, and has shown strong community values. He is also very active in the Duel Commander section of our community, which we value in our continued efforts to help support that team. We hope you will welcome them as we have.
Lastly, the site shifts away from individual moderator helpdesks and goes towards a individual forum helpdesk approach, we have created a Commander helpdesk. This will serve double duty as our previous announcement thread where we would post any updates around the forum.
We have added two new thread tags as well which are [Announcement] and [Event] thread prefixes.
[Announcement] - We have added this to the Commander Rules Committee and Dual Commander Rules Committees. This tag is intended for use as an announcement of changes to the formats as well as important announcements to players from the rules committees.
[Event] - given to the Dual Commander Regional Cordinators. They can use this to identify upcoming events that they have planned. Ideally these threads will be used for coordinating upcoming events as well as reporting how the events go such as listing placings and possibly decklists when the event passes.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
