Working on my Prossh list (sig) and I've found that Deadwood Treefolk is good but underperforming.
I included it mainly to have another 6-drop in my pod chain other than Mikaeus. Now I'm looking for ideas on what to replace it with. Kokusho, the Evening Star, Grave Titan and Massacre Wurm are on my short list. I have no interest in Triskelion because it bores me to T&N for Mike/Trike and it is a bad card without the combo. Deathbringer Thoctar seems potentially very powerful within the theme of the deck, and acts like Murderous Redcap #2 for comboing, though I'd definitely prefer to get something out of it even if I just pod it into a 7 next turn.
If you could replace Deadwood Treefolk in my list with any 6-drop (besides Trike), what would you choose?
Thoctar has won me many games on his own in my prossh list. Definitely one of my favorite cards... once you get a counter on him he clears all of your enemies' x/1 utility creatures.
So satisfying. If you're just looking for a creature to kill in the b-pod chain, though, I'd suggest one of the dragons for sure. Kokusho in 3+ player games is AWESOME. Super life swing.
Dragon Broodmother maybe? She's a Verdant Force that's smaller but comes with evasion and poops out evasive tokens that can grow bigger if you desire. And if you really need to, you can Pod away the tokens for 1 drops if you have any.
Personally I think your best bet is Grave Titan you will get at least one use from his ability when he enters and then you can either pod it or keep it around for his ability. To me he seems like a balanced mix, best of both worlds between an etb creature like Broodmate Dragon and a value overtime/setup creature like Deathbringer Thoctar or Dragon Broodmother.
I like Grave Titan a lot because he's good on his own, good to pod away, and he's also a potential combo piece if you use Nim Deathmantle to combo off. Wurmcoil Engine fills a similar role.
Inferno Titan's also solid. He gives you some value before you Pod him away and if he sticks around it'll be really hard for opponents to keep any utility dorks around.
Kokusho, the Evening Star is also pretty good with Pod, especially if you've got some recursion to bring him back and Pod him away again.

Broodmate Dragon
Brutalizer Exarch
Duplicant
Godo, Bandit Warlord
Ryusei, the Falling Star
Skeletal Vampire
Wurmcoil Engine
Other mildly relevent 6 drops:
Bane of Progress
Dragon Broodmother
Dragonlair Spider
Hellkite Tyrant
Nirkana Revenant
Ruric Thar, the Unbowed
Steel Hellkite
Thopter Assembly
Broodmate just feels so good to cast, though haha
Agree, but I had just as many good times with GT I miss having a control finisher that stabilizes against aggro as well.

Duplicant is also a good option for most decks.
