I want to play a little bit more card draw, and I've been looking at Thirst for Knowledge. I don't want a draw X spell because it doesn't work with suspend and it doesn't work with Omniscience (although maybe that isn't a good enough reason). I've been looking at Thoughtflare, but it doesn't seem good enough, and Enter the Infinite is likely to get me killed.
I play Tezzeret the Seeker, and the deck is becoming more artifact heavy, and I'm testing cards like Mox Opal. My question is, do you think I run enough artifacts to use Thirst for Knowledge? Is it better than just playing Thoughtflare, or Compulsive Research or another draw spell that doesn't cost the same CMC as my commander?
I don't like Great Furnace/Seat of the Synod because losing your mana rocks to a sweeper is bad enough, losing lands puts you right out of the game. But I could play Darksteel Citadel, which would increase my artifact count but lower my colored land count.

With Dragon's Maze, I've been looking for a copy of Izzet Cluestone and thinking about the amount of artifacts I run. I like Mind Stone, because of the draw option. And I play Izzet Keyrune the same reason. But I'm finding that Izzet Keyrune is most of the time just awful because it is just a bad Desolate Lighthouse. So Izzet Cluestone will probably replace Izzet Keyrune.
