I'm aware that the ninjutsu mechanic does not work from the command zone. I still think Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni could be a potential all-star as a general. Beyond the obvious such as Cabal Coffers/Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, what cards would help support ol' Ink-Eyes? Phyrexian Reclamation and company seems like a good place to start, along with recurring creatures like Reassembling Skeleton in order to ninjutsu Ink-Eyes right into your opponent's life total. If anybody else has experience with ninjutsu in EDH, feedback would be much appreciated.
If I were to build it I would include one main theme in particular, creatures with both ETB effects and evasion that can work with your ninjutsu mechanic. Then combine that with a repeatable return creature to hand effect and you have multiple ETB effects happening simultaneously with your attacks for an attrition-aggro strategy.
There's very little point in trying to capitalise on Ink-Eyes' ninjutsu ability, since your opponents should be able to see if you can use that ability or not at all times. The lack of surprise diminishes the usefulness significantly.
The other two abilities Ink-Eyes has, however... she can regenerate through Nev's Disk, O-Stone, Life's Finale, and Forced March, and those will put targets in the graveyard for reanimation. Coffers/Urborg are autoincludes in mono-Black, and with those should come Filth for unblockable creatures. Discard is a potentially potent subtheme. You'd probably benefit from repeatable graveyard hate (Withered Wretch, Nezumi Graverobber) over sweeper-style hate (ie. Bojuka Bog) by being able to leave creatures for Ink-Eyes while sniping whatever your opponents try to recur.

I think you are onto something.
Perhaps build an early game control black deck into big board sweepers late game, into Ink Eyes enemy grave revival?
Aggro is a weak kill condition, but in large multiplayer games, its consistent.

I disagree, Ninjutsu gives her a form of evasion. While your opponent will know that she's coming, and need to block her, it will be difficult if one of your creatures has evasion, or if you simply have more creatures than them. It can help guarantee a hit on the opponent.

Saying ninjutsu is a form of evasion is kinda misleading. Yes, I understand that you can build your deck in such a way that it is basically evasion, but it's not always going to work out perfectly. It's basically conditional evasion, which is very odd.
Really, I don't have a problem letting someone use her ninjutsu from the command zone.

Maybe consider Death Match if your meta isn't too token heavy.

I draft and play EDH. If a Standard player can't understand who a card is for, it's probably for me.
I also write things about good films.
