I have been wanting to make a mono Red deck for some time, because I really like Tsabo's Web, Magus of the Moon, Blood Moon, and Ruination; Smokestack seems pretty good with Kiki and all the token producers too. This deck is primarily for online where the people I play against often go crazy with their manabases.
I think you guys are right about me needing more lands, but I think that 10-12 is a little extreme. Counting artifacts at 3 and below, I have 38 mana sources. I can see adding another 3-5 lands to the list, but much more than that and I'll be drawing more mana sources than I want early on. Just so you guys know, I have actually played this and I do need more lands, so I'm not just shooting down ideas.
Detritivore is in my deck.
-1 Akroma, +1 Capricious Efreet(Not much drawback when you can produce tons of tokens and Kiki is the general.), -1 Dwarven Blastminer, +1Extraplanar Lens(Don't know how I forgot this.)
I can totally get behind the mono-red "screw over nonbasic land" deck. I think it's by far the best strategy for a mono-red deck, and gives you a lot of game in this format. However, I'm not convinced by your choice of general.
Kiki-Jiki is a great card, but is actually kind of meh in a mono-red deck. All his best friends (Pestermite, Sky Hussar, Eternal Witness, etc.) are in other colors. You don't have access to many cards that give you very powerful interactions, so you might consider thinking about a different general.
I mean...what works with Kiki-Jiki in your deck? Only Sundering Titan is really amazing. You have a handful more decent interactions, but few of them go very far towards really winning you the game or disrupting your opponents. It's not that he's a terrible general, but I think you might be able to do better.
You end up running a lot of cards to go with Kiki-Jiki that just aren't that good in EDH, even with Kiki-Jiki around. A lot of the creatures that just make a couple tokens or do damage probably won't cut it. I don't think there's enough support for your artifact subtheme either. I can see a lot of cards that I want to cut.
Also, Kiki-Jiki is never going to win through general damage, and you don't have any game-winning combos, so your games are going to go quite long. Even with just one opponent, 40 damage is going to take you a while. I feel like with a red deck, you really want to try to win as quickly as possible--people will eventually get through your disruption, given the time, and you have many less potential avenues for card advantage than most other decks. So...what ends games faster?
Tutors are always great in EDH, and Godo is a walking tutor, even if he is limited. Being able to grab Lightning Greaves, Jitte, one of the Swords, etc., can really swing games. Godo is also one of the best generals for dealing 21 general damage, usually getting there in only 2 or 3 turns. He puts people away quickly.
Heartless Hidetsugu is one of the few generals that can potentially kill people even faster than Godo. You have to build around him a bit, but he just puts out tremendous amounts of pain, and there are a few cards out there that can get him to kill people in one activation. Both these generals seem stronger than Kiki-Jiki to me.
Kumano is just a random idea based on the eradication of mana burn, but I think a red deck focused on making vast amounts of mana (are there any decent infinite combos in mono-red? I'm not sure.) might have some potential. Probably not better than the two above generals though.
If you really just love suicide red and punishment for lands go with zo-zu the punisher
But I do agree that Hidesugu is the best red general in my opinion and my groups opinion, godo is also good if he gets goin.
We actually named the Hidetsugu deck in our group 20 minutes. Cuz 5 player games can last just 20 minutes rather than 2 hours.

Still thinking about what to cut for some lands.
Cut a mountain for Kher Keep. Springjack Pasture is also good.

There are several ways you could go with this, but I would take a look at Godo, Bandit Warlord, Heartless Hidetsugu, and Kumano, Master Yamabushi.

Also, Gauntlet of Might, if you can find one.
