Been thinkering for a while around this deck idea. One of my first casual buddy had a funny kitchen table deck focused around CMC cards starring Scornful Egotist, Ancient Ooze and Rush of Knowledge, just to name a few.
Here's what the deck looks like for now. Any input/advice would be appreciated.
The deck is a blast to play, but dies to early aggro opponents. I was thinking of squeezing in Moment's Peace instead of Dispersal hield, as the counterspell is worthless with no permanent on the battlefield early game (but is an absolute "no" later on).
[card[Search for Tomorrow[/card] gives some early plays that can help set up the board mid game. Energy Tap helps to cheat bigg butt on the battlefield with some Egotist's Help.
Dragon Fangs was there to provide trample to Ancient Ooze, but with the recent addition of Elder Deep-Fiend, which can tap opposing blockers, I guess I could cut it altogether and up to 4 Dragon Wings, which can be cycled early game and recurs itself when I drop a big-butt threat.
Evoke creatures would be an idea, like Mulldrifter and Walker of the Grove. They give you something to do early on with some benefit while later being a useful (and rather mana expensive) creature with that same benefit.
Delve cards are also a way to get high CMCs for little mana. Though in your colors, the only permanent card for this is Hooting Mandrills. Combine with Commune with the Gods or Gather the Pack and you can get them out as early as turn 3 without further help. Turn 2 with a mana dork.
Morph creatures are all 2/2s for 3 mana to play early, but can have quite the high CMCs once face up. Ixidor, Reality Sculptor makes them bigger and even makes turning them face up a lot cheaper most of the time.
Phyrexian mana can also give you quite high CMC for less mana and can help built up a defense against aggro. Porcelain Legionnaire, Moltensteel Dragon, or Thundering Tanadon would be good choices for this and can come down on turn 3 with your current mana accel.
Phyrexian Metamorph and other clones can copy some high CMC permanment and get that same high CMC.

Hedron Matrix is litterally awesome for this deck, as it can even turn a Scornful Egotist into a decent beater.
Any advices or comments?

Nemesis of Mortals would need a lot more creatures in the deck (to put into the graveyard) to be reasonably cheap. But then Commune with the Gods and Gather the Pack can help there, too. Might as well add some Ghoultrees then as well.
