I've always been a big tribal person ever since i first learned to play the game back in Onslaught. That being said i wanted to try to make a Human Tribal token deck out of old and new Innistrad mostly with some human like themes to complement it and work with it like the artifacts. This is pretty budget most of this stuff i already own so i'm not really tossing much money at it. Mostly ones and two of things ill have to pick up if i stick with them in the final build. But all in all what do you guys think of it? i'm basically doing just aggro tokens i'm not really looking for something super competitive this is just for fun casual kitchen table play but id like it to work haha.
Also, running a mix of Always Watching and Intangible Virtue seems bad. What if you draw Intangible Virtue when you only have nontokens? What if you draw Always Watching when you have mostly tokens? Both of them do nothing sometimes. Why not just run something that buffs both tokens and nontokens at once, like Glorious Anthem or Spear of Heliod or the above creatures I listed?
thanks for the input I originally had hamlet captain in as a two of but out of 10 mock games i never seemed to draw him or open with him once, so i ended up dropping him for more mentor's because it seemed like id end up dropping my whole hand and just top decking. I see what you mean about those two enchantments, i was honestly thinking about doing just that and putting solid creature buff enchantments, i wanna say i didn't at the time because i had a good half and half mix of green and white creatures but ended with solid white. So it does make more sense now that i think about it. but the funny thing about them i always seemed to get Intangible Virtue no matter what and always had tokens but maybe only got Always watching once out of 10 games weird right? And yeah they are jank goofy equipment's and yeah there are better ones out there but they do what i need them to rather effectively. I piggy back the abilities they have with Odric nicely. Will i change them out? at some point sure for now though i like them haha.
