Howdy. Hornet Sting. Love it or hate it, it's here. Upon seeing this guy, I needed it for my "off-color" project (Old, but link here: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=264286 ) Basically, it's mono-color decks with as much off-color stuff as possible for a new play experience.
This is my "Off-Green" deck so far. It's pretty casual as you can see, but it's a heck of a lot of fun to play, and doesn't feel green at all. It feels like... I don't know! Does okay in my group since it packs a lot of removal, but your mileage will vary.
Anyway, this is my first draft so it's up for revision. There is a ton of 3x since it's what I had lying around, but need to make it more consistent.
Normally, I'd do a "Tips 'n Tricks" section but this deck is really straightforward. You beat with fliers, play removal (Ahhh, bees!), counter bad stuff aimed at your critters with Vines, draw with Harmonize.
You can do a few other fun things. Deal 3 to an attacking thing coming your way with the Cheetah. Combo the P/T boosts of Vines with first strike critters. Burn + Quicksand. Vines on yours + burn on theirs. Etc.
Plus, it's fun to dust off old cards you don't get to use anymore.
Thanks in advance for comments / constructive criticism. (Be gentle with this one.)
Me too. Have you ever seen Superior Numbers? It was on my short-list for this deck. I might have enough critters to make it work, but haven't played it enough to make sure. Fun in multiplayer since you can target the player with the least.

Then you should have more room for more burn/pump.
Bee Sting and Unyaro Bees are two of my favorite green cards ever
Oh yeah, howdi forget that? Good suggestion.
