to start off this is a very singleton deck of angels and its not for anything crazy competitive just very basic goofy kitchen table super casual fun haha but basically my whole thing is to cheat angels into the field with Lurking Predators till i can hard cast them late game what i see so far is that i cant really get any defense till turn 4-5 then it all starts to drop perfectly. to me it seems like the mana doesn't follow right here is what i have so far.
I think you're too top heavy. I might try some land fetching creatures to provide chump blocks and help thin out the deck for future Predator triggers.
Might be fun to run a few cards that can offer selection for Predator triggers. Worldly Tutor fetches from the Library, Conch Horn lets you drop from hand.
Scroll Rack can find lands early and set up Predator triggers later.
If you want to cheat cards in, you might consider running some of the hideaway lands. You can generally trigger the green and white one early enough, either to cheat in your Lurking Predators or a nice Angel to play defense with.
These are the sorts of the mechanics that cheat creatures into play. Or Reanimate, Eureka, Show and Tell, Elvish Piper, Defense of the Heart, Oath of Druids, etc. There are lots of ways to do it. But I'd pick one of those before using something that costs 6 mana. Lurking Predators has value for other things.
well the reason i went with Lurking Predators was because i was going to attempt this deck in a multiplayer setting i forgot to mention that sorry lol, but yes i figured if i could get it out and hold off until i do it would go off for each spell played by each of my opponents.
What he didn't specify about Lurking Predators, is that he is playing Casual "MULTIPLAYER". 1v1 Lurking is weak, but in multiplayer, with 4-5 people, yes you could play ONE angel for 6 mana, or you could play Lurking predators, and by the time it is your turn, have 4+ angels for free if your opponents dare to play anything. That's why its in the deck.

Lurking is an absolutely fine multiplayer card. It's just bad in 1v1. Sorry, I assume that multiplayer-only decks will be posted under the "Multiplayer" sub-forum and that decks in here are either 1v1 only or will be used in 1v1 as well, especially if the OP does not specify otherwise.
Proceed as normal then.

The turn you cast Predators (which can whiff if your top card is a land), you could just be casting an Angel immediately instead.

Descendants' Path is another ghetto way of cheating stuff in.
