I've been thinking a long time about getting a Tattoo. I would always consider things like, maybe something to do with star wars, or lord of the rings. Yet the only thing that ever sticks in my mind and lasts is a Magic Tattoo. I've played this game all my life, and no matter how many times I try to quit, I keep getting pulled back in.
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone out there has a Tattoo of a magic card, I'd really be interested in hearing what others have thought on this subject or have done.
(I'm not positive if this is the right forum for this, but Tattoos are a form of art work so meh)
Some of you may have been in shock since we invaded Canada and Mexico, but fear not, it was for a good cause. Now that we conrol North America, we produce an extra 5 armies a turn.^_^
If I did pick card art, I'd want a continuation of the art beyond the box.
For instance, my favorite art ever, Painbringer, would be cool, but I'd want the purple to be different, maybe not solid background and probably continuen a bit more. I'd definately talk to the tattoo artist about that.
I've got the five-color Coalition Symbol from Invasion on my arm and have never regretted it.
Eh? Can I see what you're talking about?
Other than that, I wouldn't get a Ravnica clan symbol on you unless you REALLY really stand for what that guild is about or you feel that the colors match your personality, and even so you could change. I'm sure a million people would get Rakdos, but does that mean they stand against everything White is about; religion, unity, sense, and pride? Maybe I'm thinking too much into this...
But I would definitely get an Orzhov tattoo, now that I think about it. The symbol is so cool, and I stand for a lot of the things the guild is about. May not be my favorite color pair to play, but philosophically, it's all me.

Getting the last word does not mean that you win the argument.
If you're going to get one, roll over here to Pittsburgh, PA (you're in Ohio, right?). It's seriously worth the trip because Tim Victim, one of the top rated tattoo artists in the country (#3 actually) is here and did an excellent job on my MTG tattoo. He's an awesome guy who doesn't charge much, and does damn good color work. Here's his website and myspace. Check his galleries. www.timvictim.com www.myspace.com/timvictim
This member has been found guilty of ripping a number of users on MTGSalvation. As a result he has been banned on this site and all his positive feedback has been removed. The MTGSalvation Staff wants to strongly encourage you NOT to trade with this member ever again in whatever situation might come up.
Spread the word.
Also my friends favorite color is blue, he loves to deck people and wishes that it would be viable in t2 just once, and he absolutly loves the symbol, he's made me swear to get him drunk and get it done if he doesn't do it.
No, he's actually real affordable, I got the mask of Phyrexia, the symbol seen on all Phyrexian creatures. It's the symbol on the Nemesis Logo and the Apocalypse logo and it was the expansion symbol for Apocalypse. I got it done with flames behind it. There's no pic on the website gallery yet, because I need a touch-up first (touchups are free so don't worry about those).
Yeah I might get in contact with him if I get a final idea down. I'm really thinking about getting either Painbringer, or maybe getting the color pentagram, but instead of just a blue dot and black dot all that, have it have the actualy symbols. If I got that one though I'm not sure if I'd get it on my leg or my arm.

Be a man, get it on your knee cap!
I think it would be cool to get dandan tatooed somewhere on me.

Do not ever get a Orzhov symbol tatooed on your body and if you do not know why you obviously do not know much about the Orzhov. (Orzhov Signet)

You mean on your eyeball itself or around it?
They could do it around your eye.
Well i guess they could bo it in the eyeball too,but no with any amount of sanity would. Its just too vital and organ to do that too.
And heres some advice from someone wanted a magic tatoo, but i was stupid and ended up with something he's now going to have to get rid of.Don't even bother going into the tatoo place(unless your just looking around) if you want to get a specific tatoo.Bring a picture of what you want, some place have will draw what you describe or may use the intrnet to help you find waht you want, but its better if you find what you want before you go in.
After a friend had bugged for three years to get a tatoo i finally did.I got a five pointed star with flames in it on my right fore arm.Fast forward to 3-6 months later i decided i wanted another one.Yes tatto are addictive in a way, once you have one you start to think of a bajillion others you would want to get.I wanted the Serran symbol on my left sholder, look at the staff the guy is holding in Glorious Anthem, instaed i got a sunburst (not the white mana symbol) with two tribal wings and $200 vanished from my pocket.
So before you decide to actually get a tatoo, magic or not,be 210% sure it what you want.Saves you time and money.
Or for some rediculous amount of money, you could have some place make a custom contact lense, so it would be ON your eye....
I saw thoes once, but you might as well buy a car.
Yes it is Hodoku. There is a guy who had his entire body tatooed like a green puzzle. And Mike Tyson has that tribal thing around his eye.
The only reason i would think you shouldn't do it is because haveing a tatoo on your eye like is because of jobs. Some,in fact most places, won't hire you if you have a tat like that barring tatoo shops.
My forearm tatoo is ok because unless you looking for it you don't even notice it.And i can wear longseleve shirts if need be,or cross my arms.People i had know for years didn't even realize i had one.

EDIT: http://www.wizards.com/global/images/mtgcom_arcana_60_pic2.jpg is that the symbol excise?
Also, looked at Tim Victim's gallery stuff, he's amazing! He probably costs a shiny penny though.
