thanks for the comments! they are made from just regular ceramic clay, and painted with cheap washable children acrylics. the scale is about 4 inch wide by 4 inch high, some being taller or shorter.
not sure how many pictures to post in one page but here are the first 6 slivers close ups.

Those are so incredibly awesome on so many levels. Some are better than others, but just for turning those into actual, touchable 3D forms, you get mad props. Keep 'em coming!

try getting some magic sculpt (www.taxidermy.com) for making small figures; or super sculpey extra firm grey (www.dickblick.com) but it's as hard when finished.
the avatar of woe isn't bad- the paint job could use some shading/highlighting; it looks too flat right now.
the rakdos is pretty sweet too.
I have some sick sculptures for mtg that I will hopefully finish within a month or so.. I'll post them then!

Realistically he should only be unblockable without equipment
Guard 1: There goes a sword floating down the street!
Guard 2: Well, he's unblockable, so ignore it.
Eat your greens kids, omnath does, and it makes him strong....
i am new to forums, so i might have trouble with the image tags, but i will give it a shot.
here is a picture of all the 1,1's slivers. i plan to eventually do all of them.
if people want me to post a picture of the individual ones, just let me know, along with other related magic sculptures.
and please show off some 3D work you might have too!
What kind of clay are you using? Are you glazing the slivers, or painting them? What's the scale of the sculpts? Can we see close-ups?

PS Slivers only have one arm? Didn't notice that before.
Gold, this one is about 2 feet tall.
Silver, this one is much smaller, about 8 inches or so.
the slivers are cool but i love me some bottle gnomes!
How'd you make the gnomes clay again?

If I had any talent with clay, I'd try this, but unfortunately the best I can do is make a ball. :/
You, totally read my mind.
(Would be hope that you're a girl be too much? :D)
Have you ever tried using Fimo for these?
I used to do some craftwork as a kid and I loved working with it. Not sure how well it holds a paintjob though.
