Please use card tags when you're asking a question about specific cards: [c]Serra Angel[/c] -> Serra Angel.
Q: I control a Cemetery Puca and an animated Mishra's Factory. The Factory is destroyed and I want to pay to change the Puca into a Factory. Can I do that? If yes, will the Puca be an animated or unanimated Factory?
A: Yes, that works. The Puca will become an unanimated Mishra's Factory. The Puca's copy effect looks at the last-known information of the copiable values of the Factory as it existed on the battlefield. It sees an unanimated Mishra's Factory, so that's what it becomes.
This answer is a bit odd to read. Maybe there could be some mention that "animated" isn't a copyable value. Something like "Copy effects only copy what is written on the card, not the current state of that object (i.e. it doesn't copy the 'animated' state)"
I'm sure it could be written better but you get the gist
I cycle a Primal Boost and use a Words of Wilding to make a bear instead of drawing a card. Does it appear in time to get the boost?
No. The triggered ability goes on the stack (and thus needs a target) when you activate the cycling ability - long before the ability actually resolves, and the bear replaces your card draw.
Good read as always, but I did see a problem with an answer. You shouldn't be able to Cytoshape a Dark Depths since it is a Legendary Land and I'm sure that it will still be Legendary even when it's a creature via Animate Land and Cytoshape says "non-legendary creature".

An animated Dark Depths is indeed still legendary, but that doesn't matter. Cytoshape works with two creatures, the creature to copy from, and the creature to copy to. Only the creature we're copying from needs to be nonlegendary, and we're copying from a Tatterkite, which is nonlegendary.

Sorry, must have miss-read the answer.

This has nothing to do with the article :/ Just send your question to us, or post it in the rulings forum. -Woap
