Here, we have a very aggressive Modular/Affinity style aggro deck that can drop Ascendancy for an alternative win. This seems like the logical evolution of Scales-Affinity, as Ascendancy can win through any creature stop gaps like Ensnaring Bridge.

I think Throne of Geth is quite better in this setup than Animation module.

Definitely a card worth considering.

Module is sometimes an unneeded card that gets sac'd to Ravager, and other times part of an engine that feeds the deck. If you're not going off in another method, Module+Overseer starts pumping out an army like Thopter Foundry, with each iteration growing in power. Module+Ravager can also get going adding a counter to Ravager/Ascendancy for {1}.

Of course, this is a slow approach, and Throne definitely has a much more immediate impact.
It also has a strong on turn impact if you don't have anything to drop or add a counter.

I'll definitely test it out.
I'm not sold on cutting Module completely, but I am sold on Throne's potency.

Yeah, that's true, but as you said, module is more for setting up a two/three-turn army, and throne gives you another Overseer effect sacrificing a citadel, arcbound worker or even itself, and ramps you so fast with Ascendancy wincon if you have one H. Scales on the table.

You might as well punk inkmoth in this deck as another wincon, animation module just adds fuel to the fire for Arcbound ravager. I really think you play a u/g hardscales deck and you add one of two ascendancy to the deck as a additional wincon
