I initially wanted to build an Angus Mackenzie Turbofog deck when I first got into the format since he reminded me of Tim the Enchanter from Monty Python and the Holy Grail but since he was too expensive to get a hold of I went with the next best thing and that was Uril, the Miststalker or as I like to call him Bigfoot being as someone whose been fascinated by the legend surrounding it.
I had a lot of success with him whether it was going up against Scion of the Ur-Dragon by getting that extra tempo to go off; or Ghave, Guru of Spores where I managed to lock my opponent out with Gaddock Teeg to the point where he got revenge against me for playing it. I even managed to win a 3 way EDH/Commander game one time by taking both opponents out at once.
Unfortunately I was forced to tear the deck a part when I got into Kaijudo because I needed the money at the time plus it got to the point where hexproof on a General isn't as threatening as it used to be due to Arcane Lighthouse, Archetype of Endurance, and Bonds of Mortality being a thing.
