Group hug, but hold the crazy cards when you are ready to win, either by big stomping naya creatures or by awesome sinergies that hurt even more than an infinite combo.
Early Game
Just ramp and play small, supportive creatures if you have them. Don't play group hug cards.
Mid Game
Play Gahiji when you see that players are ready to attack each other. Play some small group hug cards like howling mine. Start to find a way to win, while you look at the other player beating each other.
Late Game
Wait until your winning plan is ready, then drop the big stuff to accomplish it. Search and play big but not threatening creature like Meglonoth if you have Titanic Ultimatum in your hand, or play crazy mana doublers if you have Broodmaster Hydra and Warstorm surge.
Try to win as quickly as possible
