This has got to be my favourite block deck, it just oozes power.
Very fast and very disruptive, typical turn 1-4 involves playing a 2 Pumpknight, a turn 3 Necro, and denying the opponent the rest of the game with your disruption. I've come around to Icequake and Infernal Darkness can just end the games there and then if you have any kind of advantage. After much agonizing over numbers, I settled on 61 cards. I'd be interested to head what you'd drop to bring it to 60.
I've tried Void Maw, Abyssal Spector, and Mind Warp and found them lacking. None of them are as good as the cards they were modeled on(Ishan's Shade, Hypnotic Spector, Mind Twist).
Coldsnap has Phyrexian Ironfoot, this list was suggested by Zvi Moskowitz, he claimed it had a good game against Historic, not just block, but I went for pure black and the classic pump knights from the black summer of 1996, with voidmaw instead of Ishian's shade.
I did see a necro with red for Skred and possibly Incinerates that would work with your paladin.

I would add some more efficient creatures to the deck

Not too many good creatures in Ice age block, but would consider splashing red for Lim-Dûl's Paladin. Easy splash with Sulfurous Springs.
