This is a midrange graveyard-based deck that is built around Lightning Skelemental and Thunderkin Awakener.
After losing Faithless Looting from the modern card pool, I've been adjusting the deck into a more midrange-y gameplan that leans less on the graveyard and more on the sequence Flamekin Harbringer -> disrupion -> Skelemental -> Reanimate skelemental, which in my experience is usually sufficient to empty the hand of more grindy decks.
Given that this kind of build needs to avoid too much card disadvantage (as it doesn't trade it off with the consistency of seeing a lot of cards), I've cut the dredge aspect of the gameplan, including my finding of Shriekhorn as a great albeit rather inconsistent enabler, to leave as sources of card disadvantage only Insolent Neonate (that can cycle through redundant copies and fixes the frequent early-game issue of Awakener being a dead play) and Simian Spirit Guide (that fixes the "sequencing" of getting Skelemental before Awakener in play) . In fact, this kind of setup almost feels like it works around card disadvantage through recursion shenanigans that are rounded-off with [c]Vesperlark[/.c].
The plan post-board is to reduce a bit the graveyard aspect by cutting a combination of 1x Awakener, 1x Vesperlark some Neonates and bringing in matchup-Appropriate disruption. Perhaps the sideboard needs more thinking (at some point, I was running 2x Deputy of Detention), but I'm reasonably pleased with its current form.
