WB Vampire Tokens
Main Board (60)
Quick Info
A vampire token deck that plays on the interactions between 1/1 lifelink vampire tokens, Sanctum Seekers, Cruel Celebrants and Cliffhaven Vampires. Sometimes, just the act of attacking can be enough to deal critical damage.
Token generation
There's really only a couple of efficient vampire token generators — Queen's Commission and Call to the Feast — so this deck maxes on them both. A couple of Anointed Processions try to double their efficacy. Legion's Landing can help with one early token and a few more later, but it's a bit on the slow side. For the same reason, the Sorins and Mavren Fein are neglected here. Elenda ran for a while, but too often achieved very little. If you can get her to stick, she can add real value though.
Triggers!
Sanctum Seeker is clearly the principal trigger we're looking for. Each attacking vampire triggers a 1 life drain/gain. Cliffhaven Vampires make it all so much more effective.
An ideal board state is something like five tokens, a Seeker, a Cliffhaven and a Celebrant. Attacking with the tokens causes 5 Seeker triggers, each of which also causes a Cliffhaven trigger. So far, that's +5 for you and -10 for each opponent, without even dealing any damage. Should the tokens connect, that's -5 more to your target, +5 more for you, and 5 more Cliffhaven triggers, so another -5 to each opponent. If they're blocked and die, even better! +5 life gain, 5 Celebrant triggers, so another +5 for you and -5 to everyone else, adding 10 Cliffhaven triggers, so another -10 to everyone. With any luck, you just gained 15 life and inflicted 25 life-loss to everyone else, all just from 5 1/1 tokens.
