I don't know how hard it is to get your driver's license where you live, but its a pain in the ass to get one here. I went up to get mine, and now I have to fill out this card, send it to the place, with $20. Then, they send me a workbook, and I have to go check out a video from the library, watch it, fill out the test, return the video, get some form signed, and then send it back. Then, they send me a certificate, saying I passed, and then I should be able to get my license. It may not sound like much, its already starting to annoy me.
In other news, I found out I didn't get that job at Target. I applied at the other one in the area and for some reason, I'm classified as "un-hireable" by the company itself. Why? I don't know. I called the Target I used to work at , back in NJ, but the HR person wasn't in, so I'm gonna call back on Tues. (Mon is MLK Day), to see if I can get this straightened out.
My dad's birthday is tomorrow, so I got him a nice little card. Other than that, I've been playing DQ off and on. I can't wait until I get my DS. I was playing Elite Beat Agents in a Gamestop the other day, and its pretty fun, so I'm adding it to the list of games I want to get.
That's all for now, see ya later!
P.S. Mr.Stuff: Best avatar ever. I love it. Kitty!
@BuzzDX: Wait, don't you have to get a certain amount of driving hours witha parent in the car before you can get your license? Where I live, first you have to take Drivers Ed and pass, then you have to take the "permit" test, and once you pass that, you have to get 50 hours of driving with a parent in the car, including 10 at night. Plus, you have to take 6 hours of driving lessons with a certified driving instructor. Once you have done all that, then you take the driving test, and if you pass, you get your license. Yeah, so at least in California, it is a long and annoying process. I have 40 hours of driving right now, so I'm pretty close to my license.

Probably, but I don't have to do all that. I've already done it. I'm just attempting to get my license switched from an NJ one to a NM one. Perhaps, I should have been a little clearer. I didn't think it would be this difficult, but rules is rules.
@Strongbad: Lucky you. It should be freezing over here in New York but it's not. I say if you're not freezing your butt off like I haven't been in the winter for the past 10 years, then there's something wrong.
@Buzz: Sorry to hear about your driving problems.
I'm going up for some dinner, which unfortunately will have to be leftovers since we're not ordering out, probably because I heard my dad groaning.
It looks like i won't be going to my friend's house tonight to play video games so i will be here instead. I hope everyone is having a good week so far. So i will probably be home all day and probalby play some dragon quest 7 and final fantasy 12. Maybe watch a movie tonight as well with my parents. Well i will probalby post tonight sometime and if anyone wants to talk we can on aol messenger. See you all soon!
@Buzz: I am very sorry about your driving problems as well. I wish your dad a happy birthday and best wishes to you and your family buzz!
@MW: I hope your dad will be alright. Also have a good time with your family while eating dinner. Oh and about the nugget me and mamelon call each other little nugget and goober now just for fun.
So I clocked my bike ride. 7 miles, give or take. That's pretty good. Not what my Mom thought, but well over my expectations. I'm a bit saddle sore right now, but I'll probably see if I can make that ride regularly.
An hour and a half in the pool gives you one heck of a headache.
Well, from what I heard from another gamer, he didn't even give Lost Planet as long as I did. Twenty minutes, plus an online game where the first person to get into a vehicle beat the absolute crap out of everyone else. I rented the Xbox version of Thief, which I enjoyed playing a long time ago. I just had some problems in one of the levels and returned it. I think I'll attempt it again.
Sounds like I should get into magic again with this new expansion. Might do so, being so close to a card shop now, and a decently major one in the Springs at that. Just got to get a job nearby...
@Alpha strike
I am watching the game (it is currently end of first quater)
@Shadowfox
Too bad. Maybe you'll get one next week...
You also could have combo'd out in game two if you were not preoccupied w/ your Scryb ranger beatdown .
@Nai
Biking is fun. I can't bike because my first gear doesn't work, and its cold outside:-/ .
@Buzz
Good luck w/ driving. I hope you finish it w/o problems.
I'm off to watch the Saints game.

You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.
Sorry to hear that, Shadowfox. That has got to suck. One of my friends was in the same situation, but he was 7th in line due to a cancellation. Lucky guy.
About Twilight Princess:
The Spinner is good, but I'm sad that you don't get to use it more than you actually do. It's cool, but just one of those items you use once in a blue moon. Are you as annoyed as I was that you have to go dungeon diving for at least two sets of items? And that there are so many items you really never use after the initial dungeon. That's a habit in Zelda, but still irritating.
@Cecilia: That makes sense, I guess... a little friendly term never hurt.
@Shadowfox: That's a bummer. I'm going to save my money for a couple of months before I go for a Wii. Thankfully there are two Gamestops and a Best Buy near my New York apartment.
Tomorrow I go back to college, and of course I have to wake up early so I can get back early. That's the story of my life: last to leave, first to get back. I left school the last possible day I could and of course I have to be one of the first back. What a crock of ****.

That sucks man. Just look at it this way, at least you didnt spend maximum time bored at home. Does anyone know any good alternate tunings for a bass for YYZ? I popped my low string and only had A strings to replace it with and we have a gig on tuesday and I can't make it down to the guitar store by then.
@ Ninja, wow that sucks so bad. Is your gig in the city, or somewhere else because if its in the city I wouldn't mind seeing you play.
while on the topic of music
The prerelease and the meridian drive concert are on the same day, so I am not going to see meridian drive( stupid damnation) I'll catch them later, if you guys don't know who they are an alternative group that are pretty big in queens but a lot of people know them who are really into alternative. if you want to hear them check their myspace /meridiandrive and youtube them for their music video which is pretty good and features places I frequent a lot.
@Shadowfox that sucks sooo bad, But think of the people that have to wait for the shipment after yours comes in
@Nai my grade went on a overnight trip (theres only fourty of us in our grade) on the first day we went on a 15 mile bike ride and I finished first with my friend, and my basketball coach. It was really enjoyable and the bike trail was so nice, if I ever bought a 10 speed bike or so I would probally go on some trails, but I enjoy skating a lot more even though I suck hard
@MW Sucks that you are leaving for college tomorrow, and it hasn't been that cold in NYC I mean yesterday was pretty nice out, its been weird too bad no snow
Okay tonight Im going to go bed no later then 12:00 because I have to wake up at 10 and I havent been sleeping well.
@Spoiler today kind of gave me some hope that it will be finished in 7 days but I still doubt it highly. Torchling is sexy. Red Wurm is sexy. Red Knight is sexy, wow red is the sexy color this time, and I am not really a red player. In fact im more of a white player, red knight isn't sexy now :-(
@Ripe: No, it doesn't suck that I'm going to college tomorrow (I'm looking forward to it). What does suck is that I'm going there early. That's what I was complaining about, along with the fact that I left late on the last day I could possibly leave when going home. This happened at my boarding schools too. And I agree about the weather, it's too goddamn mild. I hate listening to the weather report during the winter and hearing that word ("mild").
Just finished watching the football game (Saints-Eagles). Good close, high-scoring game. I think that the Saints will make it to the Super Bowl.

I wanted the Eagles to win. Why the **** did they punt on that last 4th? That was the dumbest call I have ever seen.
That game was terrible. So many bad calls against the Eagles cost them the game. I obviously wanted the Eagles to win, but since they got cheated, I'm probably going to root for the Bears. They have been really good all season, so I hope they win.
@ Football Every season I say to myself, "this year im going to watch football a lot" I wound up watching about 3 giants games a 2 rutgers games. The only game that I make sure I watch every year is the Superbowl(duh) and I always cheer for the underdog or whoever isn't from Massachussettes. Which is most likely a yankee things, wow I can't wait until baseball season starts then I can talk to you guys about sports.
@MW are you going to have classes on MLK Day, because that would be pretty weird and disrespectful to some extent. Because if you aren't then shouldn't you classes resume on tuesday?
@Eagles: Yeah, that punt was essentially a move of surrender on the part of the Eagles. I'll be hearing about that at my school from the Eagles fans for at least a week.
@Ripe: You also cheer against New England teams! Excellent! New England for the suck. And yes, I'm having classes on MLK Day, but I went to a boarding school; I'm used to going to school on days which most other schools have off.
Yep, Saints are definatly going to the Super Bowl, and they deserve it. Now that Reggie Bush is on the top of the game, they are going to be hard to stop, even by the AFC.
@Faerie Lord: have fun playing something and have a great night take care!
@MW: have a safe trip back to college. Goodluck in your classes im sure you will do great though.
@Nai: Good job on the 7 mile bike ride. Well that would be good to do it regularly its always good to get some exercise.:)
Well goodnight everyone this post will probably be my last one for tonight. I will post tommorrow though. See you all soon and take care everyone! *hugs and blows kisses to everyone*
Football: Yay - Eagles lost! As a Giants fan I understand you're supposed to root for the team that beat you - but seriously I can't stand the Eagles normally anyway. Now rooting for the Saints anyway. I like feel-good stories.
Ninja_Pirate: LOL. Funniest number in the movie! And if anyone asks what that's referring to we can't say without being censored.
Sorry about your aunt tho. I hope she gets the transplant and makes it out alive.
Red Arrogant Wurm, Green Ball Lightning and now a White Force Spike. What could they possibly do as a finale? Blue Urza's Rage?
On a side note I do like the Scryb Ranger/Spectral Force combo it is very, unexpeceted to say the least, or at least was.
Im watching Clerks right now, which may be my all time favorite movie. "37?!"
And on a sad note, my aunt needs a bone marrow transplant. She was diagnosed with lukemia last month.
;_; I hope she gets a good match and a second chance.
Good morning/afternoon. I just woke up and went outside to let my roommate's dog out for a bit. It reeks like rotten eggs out there, and it's so bad nobody from next door is even out on the deck for a smoke. Our neighbors are chain smokers and are always out there. Don't know where it's coming from, but isn't a sulfide gas like that dangerous?
I do too. The doctors said that she has a really good chance of survival so that helps. I'm so thankful that medecine can give people second chances like this.
Looks like I picked a bad week to quit sniffing glue. 10 Pirate Points to whoever knows what movie that is from.

Today I'm going to church, then coming home until 3. At that time I'm going back to church to go on a small "retreat." I'll be back monday in the afternoon sometime. My Youth Pastor couldn't get enough male chaperone's so I'm in charge of all the kids in my room. Should either be fun, or irritating, we'll see.
