You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.
Janus just downed my miniboss in Street Cred with one hit ^___^;;
I found the perfect creature for my Life and Limb deck to get the damage through. Funnily enough it's a creature I saw at first and said "this sucks out loud. No way will I ever use it." Shows what I knoiw.
@Mamelon: Thanks mamelon. Yeah I was thinking of not posting my bad news in here but i am glad i did... I actually didnt get any sleep last night well not that much anyway.. I know you been through rough times too and I am very sorry that my situation made you more upset sweetie. I know you didn't need anymore of being upset. Ill be on aol messenger later tonight if you want to talk. *hugs*
@Janus: its probably most likely that they think I have lack of communication with talking to patients. I have really worked on it though I guess they didnt think it was not much of an effort not really sure though.
@Nai: thanks for your support as well and thats alright its no big deal.
@urazii: Yeah I am sorry for mentioning this horrible news although I find it healthy that i can talk to you all about it.
@ungenni: Yeah i know its heartbreaking but I am going to try to move on. *hugs*
@Magic mage: Its quite alright magic magic. Don't worry too much about it. *hugs jen*
Well i am going to go for awhile. See you all soon! I wish everyone a great week! *hugs and blows kisses to everyone*

One critical hit, which makes it something of a lucky punch (one that dealt 22 damage with brass knuckles - autch?!)
@ KevinLiu:
That's actually an odd thing to hear, I've always gotten the impression (from your activity here in the 'House) that you're a very social person. If I may, I gather from your choice of words that you haven't asked them directly what the problem was, correct? If so, then perhaps you should, it could be of help to you.
Just a word of advice
In any case, I wish you good luck and strength. What will you do now?

@ Yukora:
Haha, thanks man! No, I'm still here, and I intend to keep it that way
@janus: Yeah well weird things like this happen all of the time in real life even to the greatest people in the world not saying I am one of them though. I am going to applying as a position career in housekeeping at the same hospital i am doing volunteer work at. Thanks for caring! *hugs*
I believe God keeps all of us in check. God works in mysterious ways its pretty impossible to predict on what your future holds even if the outcome of the future seems like its going to happen. I may not be a great debater like mamelon but i like to be optimistic about everything I do as much as possible. That being said I still believe that I can go back to the x-ray program at another time and finish.
Its also very true that god in fact did create all of us in his image. I heard from somewhere that all of us use about 5 percent of our mind to do the things that we do on a daily basis. Its just unimaginable what we could do if we had control of our entire mind. I believe Albert Einstein used about 7-8 percent of his total mind or else he wouldnt come up with the theory of relatively which was basically created by god.
I thank everyone for caring about my situation! I wrote a blog entry about it if anyone wants to check it out feel free to do so. Well ill be back later see you all soon! *hugs and blows kisses to everyone*
Would it be against forum rules to put "Banned" in your custom title, you know, just to mess with people's heads?
Maybe not. I mean, if your custom says "Banned" and you're still posting regularly, you're clearly not banned. Either that or you're an internet ghost.
Thank you both! *Hugs Snoop and Cecilia*. I put in a lot of hard work at the end of this quarter and im glad that my grades reflect that. I'm actually proud of myself.
I'm thinking about entering SCC: VI but I don't know what to write about. It has to be a how-to story. Any ideas?
Okay, so I'm going to be posting Game of the Week in here and in my blog, so people can see it. I'm also going to post other things in there, such as reflection papers for my Philosophy class, since I think they make good blog fodder.
Ether, that was an awesome, if not deliberate, mistake.
And I think I missed the delivery of my book, darnit. I was finally going to have a copy of "The Positronic Man", which I've wanted ever since Bicentennial Man came out (and was depressed that it was out of print) and I think it came today. But I wasn't able to answer the door in time. DARNIT!
Hmm. Well, since I have nothing to do, I'm going to blog for a couple of minutes and then I'll... Nap, I suppose.
I feel as if there have been other people who were active have had Banned as their custom title for at least a little while; I don't see anything in the rules that prohibits it explicitly, but I could be missing it. I can see why they'd want people to choose something else, to avoid confusion.
I've never had a sig banner. Maybe I should get one? (I feel as if banners make people easier to remember.)
I dunno, Joyd. I don't think banners make people more memorable, per se. I mostly pay attention to people's icons myself (and yours STILL makes me wanna play Contact XD) but mostly it's where they post and what they post about that keeps me interested. I just make a lot of avvy/banner combos because I love playing with photo editing programs =)
I remember someone late last year had "Banned" as their custom for a great while. Maybe the mods just never noticed?
I'm sorry, Ether, but I loathed the game. I just sat there thinking, "Can I really stand this game long enough to learn to enjoy it?"
I didn't like how nothing you did, combat-wise, seemed to matter, and everything took so long to do anything. The story was hilarious, and probably well worth it. But, then again, so is Xenosaga II, and I can't pull up the courage to do that, either.
Well, I was raised on Dragon Quest so I guess I'm used to sluggish battles. I wasn't too pleased by a lot of aspects of battle in Okage. It was annoying, and there was a surprisingly huge learning curve. Big Bull was the ONLY fire-elemental party member, too, which kind of sucked. Other than that, though, I loved the story and presentation and thought it had an awesome soundtrack. The visual style really stuck to me - like Tim Burton, only in an RPG =)
As far as Xenosaga goes...by all means, skip episode 2 and play episode 3! Every single thing that happens in ep.2 will be explained in great detail in ep.3's Xenobible, and ep.3 is definitely not to be missed. It's an excellent game.
Oh, I'll force myself through 2 eventually. I know they'll recap, but experiencing it is just so much better.
And yeah, I lvoed the Tim Burton style. I like that type of thing. But it wasn't the annoying battle style or the learning curve. You could spend hours leveling up and it wouldn't do you any good at all. And your attack doesn't seem to matter, killing your enemy or being killed seems to largely depend on luck, which I don't think is right.
Speaking of Burton-esque games, did you ever try a game called "Psychonauts" for the PS2? It's a platformer, not an RPG, but it's a very Burton-styled game.
Oh good god.
