@Photon whore jokes: LMAO this is hilarious... no offense Photon, you know we love you
Guys; watch the TNT movie "The Librarian 2: King Solomon's Mine" and root on a very cute Noah Wyle who plays an Indiana Jones-style book nerd! (the very best kind!!! .................

tho he's no match for Harrison Ford.............................or Arguas )
Inactivity - the result of disinterest in posting/busy life style. See also "lazy bum" and abandoner.
Anyway I'm back for now. Hopefully I can find some interest in this place again.

I shall be missing that tonight. Gonna instead watch Boondock Saints. Finally found a copy I can rent of it.
I do wanna see it tho so I'm gonna hope they'll have it on as a "repeat" within the next week...
@Yukora: Frickin sweet! I love Dodge trucks. I must ask tho - raised or not?
@Alacar and Photon: Belated congrats on WPLhood. Abuse the power! j/k
Congrats to Cecilia for your RotW. I'll eventually read through them, but usually I just... Don't have the attention span.
I tell you... Having a cute long haired chihuahua in your lap waiting to be petted is an awesome, awesome thing.
I'm fairly sure I'm correct in a fact that not many people know, that the Dragostae din Tae by O-zone is Romanian. If I remember correctly, it's either about love or a tree. Not exactly sure which.
As for the Colosseum, Strongbad, if you like roleplaying and/or storytelling at all, we'd love to have you. While too many cooks can spoil the soup, I'm fairly sure that you can have unlimited writers and STILL have a good time. Besides learning D&D (like me), you could also make up a world and allow people to play within it (a World Project), join in another's world, or just make up a short story for people to play in (a Quest). Or you can just read the awesome writing we have.

Just wanted to interject that this says its about love. More specifically love under a lime tree... weird name for a song if you ask me but it sounds so good in romanian.
As for sets, these things much come and go as the tides do for everyone... I just started trying to finish my set again - for like the third time. And here's hoping life doesn't get in the way again like it did the last two times. Oh and the willpower to actually finish it would be nice too.
Man, I am having a heck of a time trying to find a piece of art for my FCC submission. It is just impossible! I have found one piece that sorta works, but I will probably have 1/2 - 1 point off.

Wow, I just checked out the Pen and Paper Inn section of the Colosseum, and man, does it look complicated. It seems like a very neat idea, but I don't think it is something that I would like to do right now. It just looks like it takes too much time, even just to create a character. Maybe another time if I have nothin else to do, I will try it, but for now, I think I'll pass. Thanks anyway, everyone who explained it to me :).
Hey, everyone! I'm back! I'm pretty tired from the early morning flight and no sleep, but I'm trying to stay awake a bit longer at least. Things are probably going to be pretty hectic around the house with everything getting situated. The move was a pretty big thing, but I should have more oppourities out here in New Mexico. Job-wise and education-wise. I do plan on moving back East someday, but that's probably a long way off, so I'm not too worried about it at the moment. There's too much stuff to catch up on, so I've picked a few things and I'll jump into the conversation whenever I can until my computer gets here and setup. So, hopefully, I won't have to play MWS anytime soon.
Also, Numa Numa is the only song I've ever made a music video to - I just don't have the video memory on my computer to make a really serious one. You can watch it here.
Indeed, congratulations on Regular of the Week, Kevin! As for Numa Numa, that was so great the first time I saw it, but what's even better, is that people kept saying that while wearing a certain shirt, I looked alot like that guy. I admit there are some similarities. I'm going to finish checking other things I missed on the interweb, relax and get a good night's sleep, because I could really use one.
In any case, Strongbad, I agree that it takes time. I generally have a lot of free time, so I'm fine with the time it takes to do everything.
And I'm fairly confident that, at the moment, I could easily make a character in about 20 minutes that's decent. It just takes a while to do it the first and second time to get everything down.
Making a level 1 character using just the Core takes about 10-15 mins, usually, if you know where to look and what to write. It's making a level 4+ character that takes time, because of skill points, feats, ability score assignments, and prestige classes.
BuzzDX, I'm sorry but Wurmburst is a little too strong in its current state, ESPECIALLY as a common. So I'm making it +4/+4 with Trample at :3mana::symg::symg:. Most critters are 2/2s, so it'll make em 6/6s.
Oh? Would that be your "To Do" list by any chance?
What eactly is the deal with the Colluseum anyway? I looked around, it's seems like a sort of roleplaying environment, but it was rather random and confusing. Anyone care to shed some light on the subject?

Hey, I'd just like to tell everyone that I've been here this whole time, just haven't felt like posting.
Congrats Cecilia on RotW.
Congrats Photon and Alacar on becoming WPL's. Its funny how you two have probably never wanted or thought to be one before, and you got it under your name before me, and I've tried twice before. Excuse me while I feel like a loser in the corner :p.
Kraj: Its mostly role-playing. The World Projects are the large organised games, and all of the threads on the main collo page are just individual quests or occasionally test runs of concepts.

I'll bet you wish you had a non-unglued/unhinged card that shared your first name.
Well, I'm happy. I found my Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (DX), both Oracles, I know where Minish Cap is, I have OoT Master Quest disk, I can get Majora's Mask from a friend, and somewhere in my house is one of the original Nintendo versions. This means I have about half the games that I can play whenever I wish. Twilight Princess will be here on Tuesday, and I will be thoroughly engrossed in that for the next... 2 years or so.
And finally there's a chance for me to make my money back on a STUPID thing that happened in FFXI, so back to it I go!
KK is right about the Colo, by the way. Each sub-forum represents its own world, which is why it looks so confusing. Each one is it's own thing, not related to the rest. The Colo itself is a place for ANYTHING to happen.
Whew, I had to be out of town for the weekend. Took a while to catch up. Grats to everyone who had something good happen to them.
@Ala - I'm methodically going through Acad block and writing up a list of suggestions. Normally, when I make suggestions, they're only on things I would consider to be actually 'wrong'; the current list is much more extensive, and consists of a lot of things that aren't really wrong, but which I think could be a lot better.
Muahaha! I bet you thought you wouldn't see me again for a while! But I'm am here, before you right now...(on a computer...) I had to stop posting in order to set off my school yeaf off right. My math grade was dropping, but I pulled out a B+. I'm proud of myself. What has it been.....3 months...more? I see I made casual customer list, its for the best...school's a nuiscance.
I haven't the slightest clue of whats going on, so I'll read the last couple of pages, seeing as that I won't be able to read the 300+ I missed.
Aha! Shinobi be back! A B+ on your math grade sure makes you earn the right to get back here.
Congratulations all around to Cecilia, Alacar, and Photon Eater.
I got back from a meeting of AIPAC, an organization that urges strong ties between the U.S. and Israel. Several state and federal congresspeople were there, and even the Senator-elect from PA was there. I got to shake his hand... I feel so honored. They pretty much stressed solidarity with Israel because it's in a time of crisis, blah blah blah... nothing new. I guess it was a good way to spend a few hours, though I could have been here doing work and then going to my Media and Society professor's house at 5:00. But I did it for the College Democrats, and I feel that I'm very much a part of that club.
Holy cow, Shinobi came back! Good to see you again. Always good to have people to share anime discussions with.
I finished my entry for this week's banner/sig contest really early this week - in fact, I'm the first one done. I think it's the best banner I've ever done, personally. Now it's time for me to sleep, and tomorrow I get to do some job searching and renew my resume.
Excuse me while I feel like a loser in the corner :p.
Haha. I am enjoying your shame.
@Shinobi: Welcome back, Shinobi. Are you old enough to drink yet?
@Joyd: Hey, your emergency turn out alright? Also, if you have time, are you gonna be on AIM sometime soon (re: the next day or so)? I have some Rise design issues I wanna bounce off of you.

[16:23] Alacar Leoricar: maybe if you do it'll make the porn more meaningful
@Alacar: All three! Snap. I just barely finished my set... Write any books yet
@Mr. Stuff: I have a question. Do you use Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro or something else to make your avvy/banners? My photoshop went haywire, so I used Paint Shop Pro. I found PSP a little easier.
@Acad - after a few passes through the white cards, this is what I'd do:
White: White, I think, is very solid. I agree that ‘temporary experience counters’ is not a particularly exciting mechanic.
Aerial Windrider: This is kinda clunky for the payoff, especially at common. I’d just give it +1/+1 for every two counters (kind of like a modified Slith Ascendant). It’s also formatted differently from other creatures like it; maybe consider
Flying, experience (When this creature deals or is dealt combat damage, put an experience counter on it.)
Aerial Windrider gets +1/+0 for every two experience counters on it.
Aerial Windrider gets +0/+1 for every experience counter on it.
(Which takes up the same number of lines.)
Avatar of Unity: Unless you’re totally trouncing them anyway, by the time you drop this, you’re going to be enough below 20 life for the second ability to not matter anyway. In fact, the second ability only matters if you have exactly 19 life. Maybe if you have exactly 18 life. I’d either make the lifegain from the ability permanent, change it to six life, or just drop the ability.
Cloak of Valor: I know that these mirror the incarnations, but first strike and extra toughness are asynergistic. I’d make it vigilance or spirit link.
Omna’s Gift: I’d cut this as a temp exp card, but it’s also a lot of work for your opponent’s choice of two minor effects that don’t have much to do with each other.
Prison of Wisdom: This’d still be terrible if they had to pay 1 for each one exp counter. I’d change it to that, or drop it entirely; the block has quite a few mediocre exp hosers already.
Seek the Spark: I’d cut this if you don’t cut Omna’s Gift, and then I might cut it anyway. To enable the white ‘over 20 life’ deck, white needs simple, solid cards, not weird Johnny commons. I’m not entirely sure this card even appeals to Johnny, since there’s basically one trick, and the trick leaves you with a single expensive card in hand.
I’d pick one and drop the other:
State of Grace and Solemn Prophet
Pyre of Light and Touch of Vitality
Twilight and Solemn Pause
I’d cut all of the temporary experience creatures and cards and replace them with simple experience creatures. (Experience 2 - ~ gets +1/+1 and has flying, stuff like that.)
Monowhite cards that cost 2 or more mana: 78
% of those that require WW to play: 62%
Cut back on the cards that require WW to play. (Most colors would benefit from this.)
@Photon - It was less of an emergency and more of an opportunity that couldn't wait, but it was good.
If there are any suggestions to changes in specific cards in Academy, let me know. The only cards I'm not changing are Arguas, Omna, Alacar, Malis, and Kyriel. Those are my promos and I dun wanna have to go to a lot of trouble to change them.
On the Cycle of cards the "Banes" in Acadamy, i think you should make their p/t larger. Destroying indestructible creatures really doesn't matter much, and for WBRU prevenitng damage doesn't dp much. Maybe a 3/4 or larger. Same with the other "Banes".
Also, mark of sisterhood needs to give atleast +5/+5, if not +/7+7. it is really under powered at the moment.
Thats it, otherwise good set alacar.
Tell me if i should do anything else about the Cofee House thing.
Thanks, I'm of to bed

Wee!!! Another new person! Hey Urazii, nice to see you here. Just try to make good contributions (no spam) to the discussions and have an overall positive attitude. I think those are the only real qualifications. Other than that, have a good time here :).
