blue, considering your opinion of the online gays, you ought to enjoy this little gem of a conversation I just had this very minute... So I've been talking to this guy on Grindr. Kind of hot daddy-lookin type. He wants to top me, I say I can head his way tonight if he wants. He says, "You know I'm poz, right?" (as if I should know this by magic). I respond, "Do you use protection?" He doesn't respond and immediately blocks me.
Classy, eh?

Are you flippin' kidding me!? Consider yourself lucky, guy seems like a waste of your time.
To be fair, I'm not sure class is something you can reasonably expect from guys on Grindr.
Not entirely true. I get about 40% nice guys, 45% hookup approaches, 10% never-repliers and 5% creep-nasties. So I'd say only the last two and maybe half of the NSA boys lack class.

Yeah, and that would be why I don't do that nonsense. If I don't know you, I don't trust you well enough to exchange bodily fluids. Nevermind emotional reasons, it's too much of a health risk IMO.
I won't judge anyone else, but for me I just can't get over this side of things, as limited the crazy cases may be....
P.S. Merry Christmas Gaymers! It just started snowing here a few minutes ago. Watching Mean Girls with the family and drinking rum-spiked Egg Nog at 9:45am. Life is good.
Ever since Azrael became a mod he was poking me to come back. I told him I'd consider it if the admin staff directly asked me to. He asked me to about 5 seconds after becoming an admin, so there you have it. It feels really strange to be a global after an entire year off.
Oh, and Merry Christmas to my Ho-Ho-Homos!

Ummmm Greg: wtf...."So yeah you know I'm poz right?" "What you didn't know that? PSH BLOCK" profile changed to "I only date psychics" I wonder if he blocked you because he only does bareback.
ken: I talk to a lot of guys on grindr but I don't hook up with many at all. And when I do it's not sex because it takes time for you to get to know me before I'll put out. I'm not super comfortable with it but I don't really have many other options.
Chris: I guess we look at things differently. I don't find it excessive/obsessive to chat with a lot of guys and try to get to know them. But, I'm not really concerned with how it sounds so interpret how you want.
Speaking of Mean Girls I want to write a screenplay for a sequel that doesn't suck. I tried to explain it to my sister and she complained that it was going to be about gay people. I told her it will be about gay people, but it doesn't mean that it can't affect a larger audience.
I got so much accomplished today. Laundry washed and folded, dishes cleaned and put away, trash taken out, three classic dailies...
I've been desperately trying to qualify for this Classic invitational. I have like ten full art Ponders. Anyone want a playset?
What does it take to get into the classic invitational? I like those days when you just feel like you got something done. But...feeling like that every day is exhausting for me. I'm not sure what's wrong with me O_o
Finally back and in the swing of things after Christmas. My feet hurt from so much running around the store to help customers.
Friend of mine poked me towards the new Nightwish album, Imaginaerum. So damn good. An (epic) metal band that does smooth jazz songs? Lovely. And the actual lyrics are fantastic. I'm a fan of the new girl.
Stupid customers are all the rage at work. One man seriously went off on me today because I asked him to get into a central line instead of lining up in front of my register. My co-worker is slow on her register, I'm fast. So I did a central line so the average wait time was low. He felt entitled to get in a single line all on his lonesome. He then complained to my boss over three phone calls. Apparently he told me he has trouble reading/writing when I told him to move to the main line, and apparently I laughed at him and made a snide comment. I admitted to my boss that this is a thing I am likely to do (because, honestly, what does literacy have to do with line management? And since when are Nawlins rednecks literate?), but it didn't happen here. Somehow, this man finagled himself into a $20 gift card. Gah.

@Nai, as you probably know, sometimes its better to give them the money just to get him out of there. 20 dollars isn't much when you keep a customer buying product from you. And if he tries it again or gets greedy, eventually someone will notice and he'll get hit for scamming. Also, karma will catch up with him sooner or later.
Karma doesn't apply until the next life. So even if he gets hit by it, it won't hit until next life. It's hard to feel good about that.
And sometimes it's better to give money. But he was already out of the store, calling in. You shouldn't give a complaining customer money when their complaint is absolute crap. Complaining that you have to be in the long line instead of cutting in front of everyone isn't legitimate. And complaining that your inability to read or write exempts you from the long line is also not legitimate. There was another customer pissed today because I refused to sell him the PSP 3000 we had on hold for someone else. Someone called in so I'd have one when they got off of work after payday. He insisted that, because he had money and was already there, he should have priority. I convinced him otherwise... So he went to the store manager to try to get me overruled. It didn't work that way.

Or he could be reincarnated as a goldfish won by a 7 year old kid who shakes everything.
About the first customer, do you really think he has a happy life if he gets this worked up over a line? Be happy that you...well can be happy. And about the second customer, I get the arguement of "my money is just as good as his", but as you said, someone got there first. Your experience shows how disconnected we have become and how entitled people think they are. Barely a week after the holidays and we have people acting like this. Has kindness to our fellow man become a lost thing?

LOL! I have to remember to try that b.s. excuse at a restaurant sometime and see if it works. "I'm here with money now so that reservation shouldn't be legitimate." *eyeroll*
Looking at my post count and seeing 12,000 posts makes me feel things. Specifically, wonder that I have such a lack of life.
Three days off, gone. Which means my next paycheck (in two weeks) is seriously going to suck. Only 20 hours this week. Holiday season had 30-40 consistently.
And the last one didn't end up being good, either. Being woken up from sleep multiple times. At least 6-7 times, about once every two hours. Yes, I ended up sleeping 12 hours due to being woken up so many times. Now I have a headache. And the first 'wake' was interesting. I'm not sure if it was lucid dreaming, but... Too many video games had me believing there were only 3 things I was able to do. One was cough. Ech.
And yeah, Wolf, we got a lot of that all throughout holiday season. It'll continue for the next week or so before dying down, especially when we actually start getting inventory again.
An entire day spent alternating between being romantic and nerdy with a fuzzy gamer bear. A nice lunch, maybe an afternoon movie, followed by FNM and late night video gaming.

Pretty close to the same here. Truthfully I think it's even funner just to get delivery (awesome Chinese restaurants around here to order from) and just stay in being addicted to Super Smash Bros. Melee or something and some Magic (although I've never gotten to be with anyone that loves Magic as much as I do which makes me super sad :()

As for me, I would say my ideal date could be something similar. Maybe going out to a bar to drink (lightly on the first date lol) and be merry, maybe even dance a bit. Who knows, I'm not picky.
Oh, I'm sure it's a gymnast, but we saw something a bit different. Clearly, it's a sculpture of a nelly bottom.
