I too have received this email at the address that I use for MTGS among other things. Although I have a Starcraft 2 account linked to my email, so this may explain it. I received this Email on Jan 19 if that helps.
i got this in my email as of yesterday the 20th, it was in my junkmail folder, so hotmail's smart. as i dont even have a WoW account, although i do have a battlenet for SC2. Also, what i find interesting, is i have two emails that i use for MTGS. i'm not sure which one is the active one, but it's entirely possible it is my hotmail, here's the image i just grabbed, and i'm also going to be sending a CC to blizzard themselves.
eds: also attaching the email i've written to thier support. Hannes, since this is something you're looking into, i hope you dont mind that i gave them your "forum" name, and you might be expecting an email from their customer service in the near future.

If this is about a hotmail address, I've heard that those occassionally get spam-mail even if not used for anything. They are often quessed, or something, I suppose.

yeah people have to remember these spammers usually just have a program to randomly send out e-mails to people by randomly generating names. Odds are this is how the e-mails got to you, especially if you use the same name here as you do for your e-mail.
Yeah, I've gotten onethree of these too. Something about a Cataclysm Beta. They were all from what appears to be a randomly generated email account "on behalf of Blizzard".
I do use this particular email address for about 10 different logins, though.
I have it on good authority that the Phyrexians are going to win. However, Venser is then going to teleport the whole of New Phyrexia inside the Zendikar Hedrons, leaving the Phyrexians and Eldrazi trapped in an eternal struggle of the mechanics that nobody likes.
The next set will feature both infect and annihilator, and be called Maro'sWetDreamia. It will also feature a new Jace, to ensure that it sells well.
i got a response from their customer service. here's the message i got.
I also love the link that says Click here for a Secure thing, and yet the address DOES NOT start with httpS. The S is bolded because only secure websites have the S in their address, if a website says it's secure and does not have the S in the http, it's NOT Secure.

We have been closely monitoring all site and database accesses for the past three days and nothing suspicious has come up.
The only way to collect a lot of emails would be through a flaw in the control panel of vBulletin, but all accesses are logged too, and I have checked those logs thoroughly.
I have also created a new account but have not received any emails on that address, so it most likely isn't something that is ongoing.

Whenever something similar has happened via other sites (manhunt, for example), I have changed my account e-mail address to something different. Yet I never got similar spam at the new address. I agree that these exploits are probably one-time hits, not an ongoing backdoor-usage.
I thought I had none, until I checked my junk folder. I have four different emails in this style. Thank god I saw this thread or I might have done the worst.
I think that this is a MTGS problem. This is the 1st place I registered my work email addy, which is a very obscure company. I don't know where else they could have got mine.
They used this email address: engx@xxx.net
I removed your email address, not what you want to do.
I have not received anything else. I wonder if it is possible that when I first registered, my e-mail address was publicly visible on my profile for any period of time?
This is just random spam. I've been getting them and I don't think I've used my email address for WoW. I used my friend's account for the 2 seconds I tried it.
Of course, DO NOT CLICK ANY OF THE LINKS.

[I was permabanned and all I got to show for it was .... well, nothing.]
I got an email today from them. I have used the email on a few other sites related to mtg, but dont play any of the other "nerdy" stuff, just magic. So it has to be linked in that respect.
I ordered some cards via magiccard.info ad from tcgplayer. Ever since I have been getting a bunch of spam email + a bunch of stuff for mtg crap. Anyone else order from there?
Mine came from noreply@blizz@rd.com I added the @ instead of a.
That said, I am not sure how the picture would help given that MTGS is not the only site registered with this e-mail On an unrelated note, the least they could have done with the e-mail was to format it properly and proof read it....
