We are going to be improving the load time of the buylist in a month; if it's not done by the end of May, please e-mail me at ben@starcitygames.com!

Yeah, it would be really nice if the buylist was searchable. I can't load the thing on any computer I regularly use, and even if I could it sucks to have to scroll through so much data to find the cards I'm looking for. A searchable buylist would be a big win.

Hey guys, I don't know if this is the place to request something with regards to your website, but I figure someone here can contact the people who do oversee these things.
It turns out that due to the sheer enormity of the buylist, and the utter crap of my internet connection, I literally cannot seem to load the buylist past about Dissension - the page stops loading for me after that point due to something related to internet protocol that I don't know enough to pin down. Is there anyway that you guys can set up your buylist to allow people to search the buylist by set, or point me in the direction of such a feature if it already exists - that would be greatly appreciated on behalf of anyone else who gets these loading errors.
I'm not sure which browser you're using, but I've heard a lot of people are having issue with our buylist in Internet Explorer. I've had a lot of success with Google Chrome. Let me know if that works out a bit better for you.
Also, if you have any additional questions about our buylist or our mail buying procedures, feel free to send an email to buyer@starcitygames.com. We'll do everything we can to help!
I have ordered 3 times from Starcity, but this last time was the best.
I ordered a NM Legends english Karakas on the night of the 22nd and it arrived today the 25th before noon! Mind you I live in Gresham Oregon and I believe they are in Virginia...I don't know about you but in my eyes that is extremely fast shipping, and I paid nothing but the cheapest basic form of shipping at $6.95.
Card came as described and well protected in a penny sleeve and a snap together hard case.
Very happy and will definitely shop again.
My last 2 purchases were the Penguin and Squirrel deckboxes and sleeves.

Was first class not an option? It shows up for me when I go to the checkout screen. The reason I ask is that first class is usually cheaper than priority mail.

I don't recall seeing it, but honestly when I ordered it I was running out the door so I might have "glossed over" it.
Are you guys going to take down the ad on your facebook page for Modern Masters? It says you're selling them for $225 in the picture but you're actually selling it for more on your actual site.

Good catch - This has been fixed! Thanks for helping out!
I received my DGM order from SCG. It arrived really fast as always and I'm happy with the purchase. Just a little nitpick, though, the border of the free squirrel token look kinda worn out (there's a lot of white mark. it's hard to explain). I'm not sure if those are common on those tokens or not, but at least those are free, so I'm not complaining too much.

I've noticed it as well, but I think its from normal shipping. I also notice that the package it so the token would take the damage over the cards inside.
If what your describing is what im thinking, it should be like hairline white spots, which I find normal.
I love SCG. Since I restarted magic around nov of last year I must have dropped around $2k on their store. My only beef is when I buy stuff over I think $100(?) I have to sign for it, which means I need to wait for the weekend because the post office is closed after I get home from work.
I also got some free stuff from them because their didn't have a card in the condition I wanted so they gave me one for free in another condition and refunded me in store credit.

I think it's probably what you're thinking. It's too bad, cuz I like the squirrel token that came with it, but hey, better the token than the card.

Hello Von!
Feel free to add a note requesting that a signature not be required on your package during checkout. While we do reserve the right to require a signature on valuable packages, we are happy to consider waiving it on a case-by-base basis. (Mention that you're Von from MTGSalvation to remind us.)
I just wanted to pop in for a minute with regards to the buylist.
As a regualr customer, I use your website almost daily. I don't love the overall design - the front page is cluttered, the facebook plug-in for comments is rather annoying and can really cause soem broswers to grind, but the site is overall functional and after getting used to it, fairly easy to navigate. There are a few options missing form the Advanced Search that I'd like to see (for example, the ability to exclude spcific terms from a search, and the ability to use advanced search to look for tokens), but it's better than most search engines and given the ability to rapidly price cards as well, I use it instead of Gatherer.
The buylist though is terrible. Like, actually really really awful. It isn't searchable at all (WTF????), it has to load all at the same time (the browser on my work computer can't even load it), it's cluttered and unattractive, and kind of all over the place. And there is no buy price (that I can find) for release foils.
I sent in a trade today for just over $300 that I put together on the weekend (purging my trade binder of stuff that had sat there forever), and it took me over 4 hours to go though the buylist and price out the trade. 4 hours for only $300 worth of trade!
It would be really really nice if the buylist were modernized - made searchable, collapsable, or better yet if buy prices were just listed with the entry for the card in question- integrated into the rest of the site.
You guys are the only online retailer I will deal with for MTG cards. You've won my loyalty many times over, but this buylist thing is really just not good at all. Any plans in the works to fix it?

Funny you should mention this - a fix to the buylist to make it much more easy to use is going to be done by next week!
We are also going to have a major, major overhaul to the buylist that is also in the works, but the fix going in sometime in the next few days should make our buylist much better to use in the interim!

I'm not sure if you tried it and it just doesn't work, or you didn't know, but you can search it using CTRL+F and typing in the card you are looking for.
As far as I'm concerned, they have the absolute best customer service and will continue to get my business because of that.
Now if I could just get them to restock NM or SP beta swords to Plowshares...

Are you guys going to be selling Modern Masters Singles soon after release? I'm graduating next month and will be heading back to Thailand around 16-17th-ish (I'm an international student). So I kinda was wanting to make a last purchase with you guys if possible, because every transaction I do with you guys are perfect.
So, was wondering if that new Buylist feature was up an running yet? Seems like it's exactly the same still, lol.
I was thinking of submitting a new Buylist order soon, but I can't take how awkward the current format is, (it's honestly the reason I stopped selling all this time)

Should be live tomorrow! We're putting the finishing touches on new language for the buylist! This is a partial buylist revamp to make it more funtional in the interim; the full make-over should be done in December!

I'm putting together a sell order right now. I'm using a 12 year old laptop with 512MB RAM and Firefox. Loads the page just fine. Ctrl-F finds any card I want.
Sure, it's not the prettiest buylist out there, but it is certainly functional.
Release foils should be under the promotional section. Just Ctrl-F and type the card name, if it's there the browser will find it.
quick question. I noticed you guys have a sale going on through out June. If I order an item now and there is a sale later out in the month, can I retroactively add it back to the item or should I wait for it to be on sale? I just wanted to ask as the item is in hot demand and I'm afraid it will sell out. Thanks!

Does anyone know if there is a way when using the "Deck Builder" to make misprint/miscut or PSA/BGS graded cards not to show up?
It's really annoying clicking no foreign, no foil, and this stuff still comes up when I don't care about it all and it just clogs up the page
