Okay, is it still even viable to crack zendikar boxes right now? The only possible good pulls i can think of are the fetches and perhaps foil full art lands. How many fetches can i possibly get per box? Im estimating 4-6. Thinking of either opening a box now or keeping it for future sale.
Zendikar is not a bad set to crack open at all. You have good mythics and rares, and even commons and uncommons that are worth having around. I still wouldn't open a box or packs unless you get them on the cheap because ZEN's time has come and gone for attempting to make profit off sealed product. If you participate in chaos draft, ZEN is amazing in that format. Otherwise get your singles.
And yes, I don't think I ever pulled more than 4 fetches from one box. I had a box with none in it as well. Don't play that game.
If you're only after monetary value, don't do it. That's basically the answer to this question for every box unless it's from a brand new set (and you sell off the money cards right away).
Now if you crack it via a Zen-Zen-Zen draft with your buddies, then that's another story.
Best limited format ever.
I believe RancoredElf keeps a running tally of average box value if you want to check that out. It'll probably give you better insight on just how worth it or not worth it cracking the box is.

You must be joking. I think the format was terrible.
It's ironic though that Zendikar is one of the best sets ever to crack for value, but the limited format is so generally unfun. I'd say buy the singles instead, but if you like the format then you can certainly do much worse in terms of average opened box value. But 3 fetches per box is weak. 6 fetches per box is about average, but you should hope for 8, and expect around 12. So 15.
Depends on how much the box costs you. In general, I would say just buy the singles. Itll be hard to get your money back and then its also hard to trade some of it away since it rotated.

I didn't like it at all, although it was my first time doing Limited at all. I would always try to go control (like I did successfully in Standard) and would lose to aggro and midrange.
I personally didn't like or didn't understand the format. Loved Standard at the time though, although Lorwyn has to be up there to me.

I am petitioning to get players to stop complaining about mythic rarity. Sig this to join the cause.
