I think you get a lot of my votes anyway. I don't think I'm a good indicator of what people like but I think people will love this one. What a hack! So in colour too, and for a pair that has been floundering.
I liked eplkewell's idea for today's card but as an enchantment it is broken thanks to the existence of Vampire Hexmage. It needs to be a sorcery without cost and suspend 5 - :symwb::symwb::symwb::symwb::symwb: that ends the game as it resolves.
I definitely like that idea... Also, I had no idea Vampire Hexmage exists. I really need to get up to date on what cards exist.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I haven't really played since Onslaught block, so if I'm unaware of developments since then, I apologize in advance.
The current set I'm working on creating FallingStar.
I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.
I really do predict this to be our worst rare in set award winner. I'd be happier opening a jar of eyeballs, so I think anything worse is highly unlikely. This card wont just have zero constructed potential, but not be significantly better than a mass of ghouls in a draft.
While those look much nicer, since we haven't seen two distinct hybrid symbols on a card yet, there isn't a defined order to use.
That said, I would start all of those with the allied-pair hybrid instead, on the grounds that that's closer to the current ordering used for wedge-colored cards.
I do my best. Unfortunately, RUG and GBW don't have very useful evergreen abilities for a 2/2. (RU is really bad... there's nearly no overlap. And while I could make a vigilant deathtoucher/lifelinker, no one would play that as a 2/2.)
I dunno, a 2/2 with vigilance, deathtouch, and lifelink sounds playable. I mean, it's basically Vampire Nighthawk, trading flying and one point of toughness for vigilance - so yeah, it's slightly worse, but it fills effectively the same role in decks.
Er, except that spell reads: "Counter target spell. It's controller sacrifices a creature and loses 2 life." I wouldn't cost it anything under UUBB
I liked the idea behind it, not necessarily the balance, and lets face it, UB could use a couple of strong contenders or cards that feel pushed. A lot of them these days feel like the people who made them decided to tack a little extra encumbering on at the end of the design process.
Man if I knew this was the place to complain about popular entries with blaring balance issues I'd have been condemning the things people liked and making colourful comments aggggggggges ago.
If I were a real jerk, I could start waiting till the end when I find a card I thought was a neat idea but had glaring problems with it and submitting a more reasonable elegant version of it. Don't think I haven't thought about it ahhahahah.
I think this contest is weighted in a sorta flashy interesting or cute sorta way. I think we have to accept that.
Honestly, the cycle is probably way too rigid, but it was just something I was kicking around. Also, thanks for dropping the second card, meant to put that someplace else Too many screens open.
Haunted Veteran
Creature- Human Solider (M)
First Strike, Vigilance
When Haunted Veteran enters the battlefield put a 5/4 black horror creature token with First Strike and Vigilance onto the battlefield under an opponent's control.
5/4
I actually think "when ~ dies" will look more fit against Orzhov's Haunt mechanic! The current version seems to be identical to "hunted".
EDIT:
Nothing against Jaxck or coolgrif but why did you guys vote for their cards? Jaxck card is one of the most broken cards I have seen in a while and coolgrif's card seems to break design rules. It's pretty accepted that signets are too good, and this card is arguably better than a Signet.

I voted for cool because it isn't exactly a signet (no color fixing), and its a strictly worse Sol Ring that feels fair.
Yeah, Jaxck's card seems fun until you realise that it reads: '2: You can cycle cards in your hand for no cost', which basically allows you to shape your hand as you want it at every point of the game.

Sol Ring is arguably better than Moxes. It's beyond broken.
The way I see it, turn 1 acceleration is limited to green.
Yes, Sol Ring is broken, obviously. The question is, is a Sol Ring that only produces 1 mana instead broken/overpowered?
There's Myr at 2 mana who produce colored mana, and Myr at 3 mana who produce 2 mana. (Of course, many would argue that being a creature is a detriment.) If those were artifacts instead, would they be fair? Broken? *shrug*
I could see a "t1 accel should only be green" argument. But I could also see a "Dull" ring being released for a Commander set, or any non-standard-legal set.
My version of that card I always thought was still pretty busted despite loading it with drawbacks. Let's call it tin street mox.
Tin-Street Mox
Artifact (R)
Tin-Street Mox comes into play tapped.
:symtap:: Add to your mana pool. Tin-Street Mox deals 1 damage to you.
I had another ever rougher version of it that I called chinatown mox that also came with fading. Named after the misnamed and short lived toys you'd often get bootlegged in chinatown when you were a kid.

Oh wow I really like your version more mechanically speaking. It doesn't really fit the idea of a man haunted by his guilt which is what I was going for but that's really cool!
Love this design. Doesn't feel perfect yet but the direction feels really neat to me. I'm always trying to make more land hand / land graveyard / land in play interaction.
Cycle of Regrowth1GG
Enchantment
Whenever you play a land, you may return a land from your graveyard to your hand.
Sacrifice a land: Draw a card. Play this ability only once per turn.

Well it does only counter instants and sorcerys, but it is still very strong.
