I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.
I really do predict this to be our worst rare in set award winner. I'd be happier opening a jar of eyeballs, so I think anything worse is highly unlikely. This card wont just have zero constructed potential, but not be significantly better than a mass of ghouls in a draft.

AD is definitely a safe bet when it comes to popular ficitional narrative. Mr. Funke here, has a kind of weird, if interesting mechanic probably referencing something from one of the episodes I haven't seen. You earn: A pair of ragged, tight denim shorts.
More than one, my friend! Tobias stumbled upon the Blue Man Group and wanted to be an understudy. A running gag on the show after his initial interest was random blue smudges and hand prints on the set, Tobias, and occasionally wardrobe of other characters.
So, that's why I made my card turn other cards blue. As for the protection, there are multiple episodes where Tobias uses his blue paint as camouflage among other things of the dark blue variety. The flavor text is even a quote from Tobias; he and his wife agree to try seeing other people, which is what causes him to find the Blue Man Group anyhow.
Thanks for the shorts, though I already have a pair. I dressed as blue man Tobias for Halloween. =D
You tried too hard to convey all the flavor of the story, which left you with lots of unnecessary wordiness (fortifications, really?) that added little to the card. Good flavor, want for elegance and conciseness (just like Tolkien's prose, incidentally.) You earn: The One Ring... oh wait, it's just a cheap copy.
It's ironic that I make an entry that embodies the wordiness and tensionlessness of the books! Also, I put little effort; it should've shown!
