I agree that my submission is an UN-card. I disagree that half-untap and half-life are more "UN-ish" than half mana.
Congratulations GilGaladTheChef!
Well, as the game currently stands, it CAN handle half-mana. Half-tap and half-life, not so much.
@Red_Death01: Thanks for the humor. Making me laugh while I'm writing a research paper is a rare thing indeed.
That said, being a teacher, I have a tendency to be a bit lenient in my judgings (as no one wants to get a D), but I vow that the next time I judge, I'll try to remember to employ some competitive grading. I'll grade as normal, and then rate them from best to worst. There won't be a top 11. You'll get a normal score, then I'll just let loose with the red ink (or another color not co-opted by the mods).

I've never entered a split card. Is this how it's normally written in the forums?
"Here only miracles. Here, only the rising of spirit. And yes, love if it was pertinent (which it was so often); and sometimes bloodletting. But never the prosaic, never the trivial. Here the man who brought the strangest tale was the most welcome. Here every excess was celebrated if it brought visions, and every vision analyzed for the hints it held to the nature of the Everlasting." - Clive Barker's Imajica

Does the common/uncommon specifically have to reference the rare/mythic by name?
It's up to you, I originally intended it to but, since I didn't say it and there has been a submission without the exact name I'll accept anything as long as it's narrow enough to obviously be in reference to the 2nd card.
Achtung! This entry is a total mess, probably the worst one here

WOW AWSOME! CRUD I HAVE TO PICK ONE?!: ~
Decks:
Anyway, next challenge:
Make 2 cards. 1 that is a common/uncommon that specifically enables the 2nd one, a rare or mythic.
Some examples: Dark Supplicant & Scion of Darkness
Dragon's Herald & Hellkite Overlord
Pious Kitsune& Eight-and-a-Half-Tails
I'll be judging on a standard 1-10 scale. I'll try and be as prompt as possible once the required entries are in.
Good luck!
