Look at the top X cards of your library. Put one of those cards in your hand, and Mindswap and the rest of those cards on top of your library in any order.

This is unplayable. Sensei's Divining Top is better than it, as is. . . well, Worldly Counsel. In a monoblue deck.
For two mana, people want to grab from the top three at least; four is good. For three mana, people, apparently, need to grab from the top seven.
Your flavour text makes no sense. It's not a real paradox, or profound in any way. It's not even true.

4/4
A 4/4 beater that shuts down reanimation, sneak attack, and Blink, in such a way that it removes the card.
Not only that, it stops Gather Specimens and Commandeer, too. It is an absolute no to everything Green could ever want to stop on that point.
This Denfor guy knows his stuff. Legendary is a must, definitely...

When editing cards in the first post of a thread, PLEASE leave the original so that everyone can comment on the thread and not just those who saw the original. Those who did not see the original can't leave comments as we don't have any idea WTF is going on.
Colourless mana comes FIRST! Try actually looking at a Magic card some time. It is NOT UU3, it's 3UU. What game are you making cards for?
I can no longer tell people to check their card names, because I am made of suck and fail.
I almost just want it to say "Whenever a creature would etc. instead it doesn't."
I second this.
"If a creature would come into play, if it wasn't cast, instead it doesn't"
Slightly less harsh than exiling, since they just stay where they are. Aslo I think if fits the flavour slightly better that he just denies them entry to the battlefeild, rather than removing them to somewhere else.
Also, I'd like to say I love the flavour on this guy. Seriously.
Would you mind if I stole this guy for my own set?
wrong. there's nothing in the rules that makes creature spell on the stack return to your hand.
Except that these creatures won't be on the stack since it only applies to cards that weren't cast.
The ability that would be returning them IS on the stack. When that resolves, if I'm reading this right, it will try to move the creature but will see this ability and not do it.
Something like that.

Can we have Megiddo removed from the forum forever please?
i'm pretty sure i can find your ***** online within 3 minutes
Yeah, there's no way (yet) for a creature spell to be on the stack unless it's cast. That's why in my wording I left off the "from it's owner's hand" restriction - otherwise a creature cast via suspend would be left stuck on the stack.
Well, the OP's card says 'cast from the hand,' and cards can be cast from other zones like the graveyard and even the library. If you have the "... instead it isn't," then it wouldn't be able to affect cards played from the graveyard with Haakon for example, or else you would have the stack issue that was pointed out, or it just wouldn't hose suspends and Haakon.
However, as currently worded, the card doesn't hose necro'd creatures' Enter the 'Field' abilities. Could you make it:
"Whenever a creature card would enter the battlefield, if it wasn't cast from its owner's hand, exile it instead."
I think with this version, the 'creature card' and 'owner' instead of just 'creature,' and 'controller' would be necessary as the card never enters the field.

A good point. I still feel that forcing the cards to stay where they are is a much more flavourful "green" method of denial than exiling them, which seems more white. I suggest:
Players cannot play creature spells from anywhere other than their hand.
If a creature would come into play, if it wasn't cast, instead it doesn't.
"If a creature would enter the battlefield, if it wasn't cast from a player's hand, instead it returns to the zone it was previously in."
Seems about right, if a little wordier. I believe it hoses creatures that have been suspended (at which point they are just exiled, as if you'd Stifled the trigger on removing the last counter), which is about the only really unavoidable exiling of a creature from this.

Mindswap is pretty interesting.

I like the first one, though, or the OP's.
Edit - By the way, I think the idea for Denfor's mechanic is awesome! Pure genius!

This one doesn't work, as I pointed out, because cards cast from the graveyard, via Haakon ect., would stay on the stack.
