Well the "best" couple could be personal preference or it could be the one with the highest likelihood to happen in the first place and then continue on with stability. If it's just preference though, I like LilyxChandra thanks to Mr. Steve Argyle.
Come to think of it, Ajani actually has little to do with the other four.
See, Jace oogles Lili, Lili quits on Jace, Jace and Chan are blasting each other while Garruk actually is amicable to Jace while wanting Lili dead.
Good catch. That missed me totally
Well, that's largely because they tied Ajani more closely to the Shards 5... y'know, barring Tezzeret because he actually left Alara a DECADE before the conflux.
I think most planeswalkers of the same color would make possible couples...
White: Gideon & Elspeth: If they find a nice place to settle down, I'm sure these two would happily marry, have lots of children and live happily ever after.
Blue: Not enough information on our only blue female (Tamiyo) to say if this would work.
Black: Liliana and Sorin: I could see these two either have a relationship just for the sex (Lili is supernaturally beautiful, and I'm sure Sorin is very... experienced, I'd think they'd both like it) or some kind of love/hate game together where they try to outwit/control the other one. A game of power with some small love component.
Red: Chandra and Koth: While I don't think the relationship would last, it would be good while it did, and would end without a mess. They could go killing phyrexians together during the day, than go home for some hot (pun intended) fun before starting again in the morning.
Green: This one I have to admit won't work... both Nissa and Garruk would have no interest in each other.
It's still not colorless, and has no color. That's a paradox. So either you're a Zen master or an idiot, I'll assume the Zen master for sake of argument. This card will have no paradoxes because it has a clear paradox. Deep stuff man.
There is no information, except that Tamiyo has charted all possible ships within the Multiverse, including - and especially - all those regarding gender-swapped planeswalkers (her OTP is Gideona + Akromus).
My personal favorite couple is Chandra and Gideon. I really liked their interactions in Purifying Fire and would not be surprised if it comes up again, considering that Gideon went looking for her on Zendikar and I think he had previously been more mad at her than vice versa.
Anyway, I would not mind Jace and Liliana's relationship being revisited, but I don't think it would actually work out after her betrayal. I'd still be interested to see what happens the next time they run into each other. I also thought Tezzeret and Baltrice might have something, but if I remember correctly, he said something about not being attracted to her in Test of Metal, so that's really unlikely.
Elspeth and Gideon seem to be made for each other. What's next for Elspeth? Considering how young she was when her spark ignited and landed her in Bant has she ever been in a relationship? Her tormented past lends me to think no.

I think she's had too many traumatic experiences to care about it at this point.

I'm fairly certain that's the core of it. She probably holds herself apart so much so that she unconsciously pushes people away.
I think it's safe to say she's never been with anybody.
In my own opinion, none of them look like they can be in a lasting relationship. Either we know they're too traumatised (Elspeth), too busy with plans (Bolas, Tezz, Gideon and probably Jace), simply have no care for a relationship of any kind (Lili, Sorin, Ajani, and Garruk) or we know too little (Tibalt, Tamiyo, Ral Zarek, Kiora Atua).
Seriously, I could have only seen Koth settling down (with some Vulshok) if Mirrodin actually beat Phyrexia. But they didn't.

Yeah, she just happens to summon all those soldiers just to hang. Do I need to mention she's calling for them 2 at the time nowadays?
Just because robots can have relationships doesn't mean Tezzeret cares.
Wonderful direction on that video to, superb work by Spike Jonez

So what would wizards do with her? She seems to be on the verge of a mental breakdown from what I've read.
If her PW card is to be based on, I think she knows some mind affecting magics.
So pretty much, when she is faced with danger she scramble the brains of her attacker and flees for more valuable knowledge.
I think she seals magics and spells within the incredible array of scrolls she carries and when she needs them can cast them without actually "losing" the spell. Once she knows something she has infinite access to it. That is her ultimate anyway.
Her first ability probably has to do with gravity or tides. Tapping down generally deals with those things and she is the moon sage.
Her second ability is the obscure one. The best I can think is that she drains knowledge from those asleep around her. Tapping usually means asleep or weakened in magic terms, sleep is also done at night when the moon is out so theres that link too.
Agreed.
Have the original five all crossed paths yet?

Woah, are you going to handwave the Jace + Tezzeret etherium-enhanced naughty times that are within the canon just like that?
Just as Bolas intended.

pretty sure tezz isn't attracted to women, period
have you seen that goatee
Tezzeret is about as asexual as you can get. He hates his flesh, he has no desire to satisfy it.
I've seen Björk music clips.

As for Tamiyo, I think her and Jace might be able to coexist in some manner.
