First off I'll admit all the Mirari-related stories happened before I started playing, which was right after Mirrodin, but I've always been fascinated by it since I got my hands on a bunch of Odyssey (I think) boosters a year or two after I started playing.
I've never read the books but I've read a lot of articles about the Mirari and characters it's affected and such. Last I knew, Glissa & co subverted Memnarch, allowing Karn to return and turn Memnarch back in to the Mirari, and he (Karn) left it under the protection of Glissa, Geth, and Slobad.
Fastforward To New Phyrexia. Glissa & Geth are both working for Phyrexia, and Slobad "fell", which could mean a number of things. Could the Mirari now be in the hands of Phyrexia? Or has it become "lost" when Slobad "fell"? We all know the Mirari calls, even when unseen...
Given that the Mirari is arguably one of the most powerful artifacts in the known Multiverse, I'm surprised to see in not play a part when we've returned to it's home.
Also, compleat speculation here, so correct me where I'm wrong, but... We know that when Mirari/Memnarch came in to contact with the glistening (Phyrexian) oil, is went he down the path of madness, searching for his "father/creator"... Is it possible it's search was not in fact for it's "father" Karn, but rather it was searching for the "Father of Machines", Yawgmoth (or Phyrexia itself)?
The last person to have it was slobad, so it was lost when he "fell" and probably ended up in the hands of the goblins.
Personally, I think it's responsible for the mass mutation/evolution of the goblins in such a short amount of time, but it's entirely likely that the goblins chucked it into the planet's core, destroying it forever. It certainly seems to be the case since we didn't hear a single thing about it at all.
And no, Memnarch was definitely searching for Karn. It was his delusion of Karn that forced Karn from being able to manifest on the plane. Aside from that, he actively resisted the mycosynth infection and worked against it. Not something that would happen if he was thinking it would make a return to Phyrexia.
Most likely, creative forgot all about it and we will never hear about it again...
I kid, I kid. Maybe we need to write a letter to Doug and see if he will answer this. I mean the Mirrari is a major artifact in MTG Lore as far as I can tell (I started playing in judgement and read all the oddessy block books along with most of onslaught and the first book of mirrodin....as i couldn't get past the first couple of chapters of the second.)
Jace SHOULD be unbanned in modern. I hate all the people saying "JACE IS BROKEN OHMYGOD HE'LL TAKE OVER AND CAWBLADE WILL REIGN SUPREME AGAIN" when bloodbraid elf literally comes down after jace and kicks jace right in the crotch, takes jace's lunch money, and jace is left to bleed out on the sidewalk in agonizing pain.
As Barinellos said, Slobad had the Mirari last and he was attacked by Goblins. Now goblins throw everything into the great furnace, so it seems unlikely they'd keep it.
I'm sure it will show up in the next Mirrodin block.
The history of that plane is soooo messed up, it's storyline is so twisted up that it's better to just forget about the entire plane and anything to do with it. But in all seriousness i could see a possible use of the mirai in the future depending on who has control of it. My guess is that it's being studied by jin or an even more likely scenario laying beside slobad's corpse (if he's dead), I don't believe that creative would have had it destroyed off camera nor do i believe they've forgotten about it. It was the center artifact of an entire block.
We probably never hear about it again, but if we would and somebody have it now, it will make a better plot if it's not in Jin-Gitaxias hands, but rather in Urabrask's, what with him being red and goblins who took it being red too. Then he can do some crazy things in his phyrexian-but-have-feelings style with it.
Or by the power of retcon it is reveled that Urabrask was Slobad in Mirrari battle armor all along /jk
You make a good point. Afterall if any one of the praetors was to find it, it would be Urubrask.

"Deep beneath phyrexian skin, the heart of mirrodin burns!" <insert picture of Urabrask>
As per the trailer for new phyrexia declares.
If his heart is not the mirari I would be very greatly surprised.
There's a very good chance that Karn fixed the Mirari when he remade it. So I doubt the thing is radiating power anymore.
As such, the Mirari is only really useful to Jin who might be able to communicate with Memnarch's mind trapped inside. Plus Jin really wants to learn how to planeshift (which is something Memnarch knows).
It doesn't really make sense for Urabrask to have the Mirari, I guess maybe you could do that to set up a conflict between him and Jin in the next block.
It'd be amazingly unsurprising to me if Slobad was compleated with the Mirari as grafting fodder, and it turns out that creature is Urabrask. If not, my hatred of Mirrodin would be completely cemented.

soo as far we know Urabrask auto exiled hin self without any explanations . He controls the great furnace where goblins throw away any thyng they find (even a powerfull artifact fond on a former menber). Whould this make a good set plot for mirrodin beggin to be pure again?

It was confirmed a while back by Brady that Slobad was dead and not Urabrask. I seem to recall seeing somewhere but I don't recall somewhere that the Mirari became Caged Sun or Sphere of the Suns, but I can't for the life of me recall when or where I read this.
EDH, on the other hand, is more like a monster truck rally. It's more about the spectacle than the race, the games go long, and it's not usually clear who's in the lead until there's only one truck left.*
Single player EDH is like two guys smacking each other with pillows... until one of them pulls out a shotgun.

This is not true. There was never any expansion to what became of the Mirari.
Can't remember which book but I remember reading something about Sorin with a round metal object that was never fully explained/mentioned further. Kinda hoped that was the mirari. Tried to look for it but I couldn't find it.
Edit: on second thought, it may have been Tezzeret

That's nothing but baseless conjecture.
It's obvious there isn't anything else to say on the matter. I'm closing the thread.
