I'd like to see a return to Dominaria, and perhaps Kamigawa. Dominaria because I'd like to see a return to story-based Magic rather than setting-based Magic (which has started dying after TSP, but especially after ALA).
Kamigawa because I loved the setting, the story, and even the cards. While many complain about it being underpowered, in a vacuum or in the standards it was a part of, it was extremely fun.
Plus, last time we saw it was during the era of Toshiro Umezawa, distant ancestor of Legends Tetsuo Umezawa of Nicol Bolas fame. The amount of time since then has been staggering, it would be interesting to see what happened.
Dominaria return on the 20th aniversary would be AMAZING!
though honestly I don't wanna see any more "return to ..." crap. I would like to consistantly for the next 5 years after returning to Dominaria just go to different new places. The next repeate set should be Kamigawa and do it right this time. Then I guess a third trip round to Mirrodin or a 2nd trip to INnistrad would be in order.
Dominaria. I've started around Morningtide and feel like I've missed the chance to actually play with enormous piece of Magic history. Bonus points for places like Shiv, Otaria, Jamuraa (or what's left from Otaria and Jamuraa?) and... Urborg surroundings, I guess.
Possibly also Thran times, around the events of book "The Thran". Ahem.

Kamigawa, only because I play EDH and would love a bunch of new generals to fool around with. Just leave out the spirit theme as that sucked...mostly.
In all honesty I don't care what plane we go to next I just want magic simplified a bit more so it feels more like it did 20 years ago. Just throw a bunch of cards together and play. Oh well, this man can dream.

This is how I feel, and that's why I liked Weatherlight so much, it clearly had some main characters, but it was just a bunch of adventurers roaming around and encountering curious things.
Not sure if anyone else watched Pirates of Dark Water as a kid, but I think Magic is in dire need of a serious maritime theme set in a plane consisting entirely of small archipelagos.
I'd also enjoyed the silliness of the Urza block, as over powered as it may have been, I loved the whole boarding school flavor with headmasters and student hijinks.

Maritime block would be neat, just make sure to do it right. I don't want to see a huge influx or Erg Raiders

Arabian, Asian/Feudal Samurai etc. are great themes and settings imo. Egyptian also.
Innistrad is a favorite for flavor - but a re-visit would a long time in the making.
Ultimately with the 20th anniversary around the corner there's a lot of sense to some kind of return to Dominaria as others have mentioned.
Now that I think of it, Egyptian themed block would be cool. The mythology alone is enough to spark ideas for several races: How about Crocodile People
I know it's dumb but I don't really care where we go next, I just want a set that challenges all skill levels.

Other than Dominaria, I'd like to see a return to Zendikar. I believe we'd get the full art lands again, plus, they could finish off the Eldrazi story.
I first played Magic during Legions (Onslaught Block) and left when Kamigawa came in... I returned to Magic during Dark Ascension so I missed out on a lot of stuff that happened. Though I would really like to return to Dominaria, I feel that there's nothing for me there (Ixidor being dead... Yes he's my favorite character until...) When I returned to Magic, my friend introduced me to Sorin Markov... I got excited, as he is my first planeswalker card, that I researched his back story... Knowing what I know now, and this is my opinion please dont bash me, I would prefer it if we could return to Zendikar.. Reason is: 1. they may print another mono-black Sorin Markov card.. and 2. I enjoyed reading about Zendikar and the Eldrazi in the wiki that it would look, to me atleast, that my 2 favorite cards in Magic would come alive before my eyes.
I missed those actions during the first Zendikar block...
Value is good. But Dredgevine isn't supposed to be about value. It's supposed to be about V-8; 2000 pounds of nitro boosted war vegetables. The more velocity, the better.

Maybe they'll do something other than a full block revisiting Dominaria? Like maybe a 'From The Vault' release? Or maybe M14 will be nothing but Dominaria? I can't imagine them not commemorating Dominaria on the 20th anniversary in some way.

I died. I will still name a boat the Maelstrom one day.
We got TOTALLY RIPPED though! Only eight out of thirteen treasures of Rule before the series was canceled!
I won't even bother to point out the Dark Water/Phyrexian oil simile.

"The Blessed Sleep? Ha! Wake up my lovelies, there's work to be done!"
I'd like to have a supplemental product showing what Alara is up to.
I'd also like to have a block that is treated as a new plane, but there are subtle clues telling you that you've actually heard of this plane before.
Sort of like Scars of Mirrodin was supposed to be (The first set was supposed to be a Phyrexian plane, and it was revealed that hey, this place used to be Mirrodin).
Hopefully with the most severe blue hate ever imagined (in fact, if I owned WoTC, I'd just leave the color out of the block completely) coupled with a significant scarcity of removal spells. I want BIG DUMB creatures and wide flooded battlefield!!! And Dwarves!!!!
sounds like Rise of Eldrazi. I think we'll see a "turtle" block again.
I'd rather see a block that makes it very difficult to splash colors. Seems like a lot of modern magic has always had good mana fixing in every "large set" of the block since.. hmm.. at least as far back as Time Spiral.
in fact, I wouldn't mind if we went back to more conditional mana fixing like they did in some of those blocks. (like Gemstone Mine or Reflecting Pool).
I disagree with a lot of where Magic's 'world building' comes from. I'd rather see stuff that is more "real world" things. For example, I would love a "fairy tale" block. Even if it was an unglued set (but taken seriously) or just as small as a 20 card set within some duel decks.

I just want people who redraft to admit this:
"I can't draft objectively unless I am able to guarantee that I receive at least 3 rares. I am also better than most average/new players so I want to make sure that I get the best rares and they end up with worse ones. I care more about the monetary value of cards than actually playing the game for decent prizes."
