What do you think of players that cut odd? I am talking about players who will only cut one or two cards from the top, cut to the bottom 7 cards of your deck, or just tap the top of the deck even after the initial, beginning of the game shuffle.
I had someone cut to the bottom 7 cards of my deck and after the game I was very upset because I imagine the only way someone would do this is if they were looking at my deck while I shuffled.

To shed light on the bolded, its a way of cutting people do every so often. Some people always cut the same way and thats exploitable. Also, most people expect the cut, and may (if they are of a certain type) "shuffle" there deck to get what they want.
Well don't let them see the bottom of your deck while shuffling if you think that's a problem. Do you really need a logically justification for how the opponent cuts? "I imagine the only way someone would do this is if they were looking at my deck while I shuffled". So, how would you justify someone just taking the top few cards and putting them to the bottom? Honestly, I'd say most everytime it doesn't mean anything.

IIW for any CCC (pick the highest one in the list):
A high-costed equipment (I want it big, but make sure it isn't nutso-broken with Stoneforge. So a high equip cost or a benefit for casting or something)
A Squirrel Wizard
A G?? (1-3 colors, including green) legendary creature with its main strat based on not attacking

All situations above happens. Not really much you can do about it.
If anything, being predictable about cutting puts the advantage to the shuffler.
Also, no weird stories about your LGS? About how people in tuxes cut while doing a handstand or something? I am disappoint.

Some people always cut the same way and thats explotable.
This, pretty much. I always cut (what is to my simple hu-man brain) randomized amounts, as many years ago I had That Guy in my playgroup, who would never cop to stacking his deck, but totally stacked his deck knowing that the majority of times people would cut to the middle-ish of the deck. I try not to be cutesy about it in a serious match, but I have laughed and cut at one card before.
But it's one of those King Pun thing that is an unbelievably minor thing that it'd probably be better to learn to get over it if it does bother anyone, haha. Unnecessary stress.

This is why I started playing magic in the first place. It wasn't PT aspirations just making noobs cry by doing things that are perfectly fair.
I know someone that, when presented with a deck to cut, only takes the top card and slides it to the middle of the deck. Some people just like cutting in bizarre ways. I don't differently of them, unless they cut in such a way that looks suspicious.

If the store owner says that I can't trade in the premises, I'll just go outside. If he says that I can't trade within 10m of his premises, I'll go to 11 meters. If he says that he doesn't want to see me trading, I will put a basket over his head and continue trading.
Yes, he's a local legend. He's only known to take his clothes off before he goes into the Ladies' Lockerroom. Nobody knows what he does in there because he's invisible, but it's almost certainly tons of masturbating.
I have a friend who likes to have that mental edge when he's playing somebody. He's a pretty big, intimidating guy anyway, so he will cut in whatever way is going to mess with them the most. He does it so people like the OP is going to be thinking "Why the hell did he cut that way" while he is concentrating on slinging some cardboard.
As far as I'm concerned, after I've shuffled my deck, the deck is completely randomized so I could care less about what kind of cut you use (unless of course you're trying to see what cards I have in my deck).
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
Hello King Pun,
Look at your hand, and now back to me. Now back at your hand. Sadly it isn't my hand, but if you shuffle better it could be. Where are you? You're at your LGS drawing the hand you could have had. What's in your hand? Back to me. I have already played two Herbal Poultices. Look at it again. Those poultices are now Tarmogoyfs. Anything is possible when you shuffle better. I'm on a Phelddagrif.
Seriously though, shuffling and cutting as described is normal and not typically a sign of cheating.

Shuffle your cards so that your opponent can't see them.

It's a perfectly legitimate way of cutting, if they choose to do so. I've got no problem with it. When I cut a particular friend's deck, I always go out of my way to cut it in an odd and lengthy way.
I cut differently all the time, just to keep it fresh. I often close my eyes and grab, tale just a few off the top, or just a few off the bottom. I never just tap the top though. I really think cutting is an important part of the game. Though, I have some spirutally focused friends that hate cutting because the don't want others' energy on their cards.
Is it even legal to only cut one/a few cards? I know in a casino, there are rules that a cut has to be at least a certain distance from the end of the deck.

your opponent can do anything in shuffling as you can do.
They could pile shuffle/cut/shuffle all to there hearts content as long as it isnt using excessive time
Unexpected cutting is certainly a great anti-stacking maneuver. I've used it my entire magic career. In casual games I always through out some random reason for my cut: "Your land is right here... but it's all together" "And now your favorite card is 6th from the bottom." That sorta thing.
Of course in competitive magic it doesn't really matter since you can just shuffle their deck anyway.
Cutting just the bottom 7 cards is weird. You might wanna check your opponents playmat. I hear some players have been using technology developed by Russian spies during the cold war. It uses info red technology to see through the cards. I have a feeling that guy was cheating by use this super secret tech.

I always cut, usually either shallow or deep, because people don't expect it as much. The only exception is if I have any reason to believe they manipulated their deck, than I shuffle it for 3 minutes and cut it toward them.
I see people go through their deck and evenly disperse their land after games/matches somewhat frequently. Those people always get the full shuffle.
I'd actually argue that cutting it in the middle every time defeats the purpose of cutting. I may be mistaken, but I see cutting as a casual shortcut for shuffling; if there isn't a random element to it, then what is the point?
