This is pretty solid evidence. I also find it interesting that the full name of the land is "Rey-Goor, the Black Bayou", using the name of the original B/G dual. So crazy thought here, but maybe in the 3rd set we could see a set of enemy duals...with land types? There's none in Extended, and by putting it in the 3rd set they would limit the damage done by having fetches in the same Standard format since the fetches would shortly rotate. (Names could be something like "XXX, the Shining Plateau", "XXX, the Sinking Scrubland", "XXX, the Tropical Island", and "XXX, the Volcanic Island")
Also, the name seems awfully specific, and though WotC has been shying away from legendary lands regardless of name (see Valakut cycle in Zendikar), it seems like part of a balancing act on fetchable duals could include making them legendary. Perhaps they could be slightly better shocklands (maybe only requiring you to pay 1 life) but be legendary as well?
This would also encourage more players to play Legacy by increasing the number of viable duals. Even shocklands are pretty hard to get ahold of right now. We've seen that WotC is not afraid to toe the reserve list's line with cards like Reverberate and Molten-Tail Masticore, and legendary duals would act much the same in that regard.

Somehow I think the more likely explanation is that they ran out of synonyms for swampy areas. They've printed so many land cycles over the years that they're bound to have to start reusing the base noun sometime.

If you came here expecting a signature, you've just wasted your time.
Based on the description given to Rey-Goor I speculate the lands will be in the same style as River of Tears in future sight. I always love me some enemy duals!
Too lazy to read the whole thing but I noticed the wording on Strata Scythe the other day. Notice how it says "land card" instead of "basic land card". This observation has lead me to believe that some type of "dual land" will be printed in the upcoming sets. Probably with some type of funky drawback like the shockduals from Ravnica block. Just a thought...
I was going off the idea where there's going to be only a few enemy duals. So not all the enemy lands are going to be there.
Enemy duals wont be see unless its a full cycle, they are already inherently unfair(enemy colors are not supposed to work well together). Outside of time spiral i cant ever think of a time a dual was printed and not part of a cycle. (lorwyn tribal lands were a lose cycle of nonbasics and not exactly supposed to be duals).
That being said Id love an enemy dual cycle, it would make my g/u artifact deck a lot smoother
I think the enemy lands could be just like Guildpact lands, but without the basic land types and poison counters instead of life loss.

As Infected Godless Shrine enters the battlefield, you may get 2(?) poison counters. If you don't, Infected Godless Shrine enters the battlefield tapped.
Tap: Add W or B to your mana pool.

Nope, because outside of Scars block this card is far too good. Consider the broader format.
I don't see the problem in creating one enemy land in BG if Phyrexia remains primarily in those colours in MBS. This idea looks great:
Rey-Goor Land (R) t: Add B or G to your mana pool. You lose 1 life. 5, t: Proliferate.
As MBS will be 50/50 Mirran/Phyrexian, the way each colour is split between factions may determine what dual lands will look like. Honestly I think Rey-Goor will produce colourless and proliferate or give an opponent a poison counter, but it would be great to see the above card come out.

Also, the Ravnica shock lands weren't introduced all at once. There were a few in each set, so it's possible we see :symb::symg::symu: in this set and the remaining enemy color combinations in the last set of the block.
Nope, because outside of Scars block this card is far too good. Consider the broader format.
Being a single rare land instead of a cycle i don't see it breaking anything, eternal formats have way better lands in the form of duals and this could additionnally be a way to get more stock on playable lands in the format without being broken while extended runs painlands and filterlands. With the format being so much smaller i think that the only way BG lands would be playable is if Infect makes a splash and that is just fine, they need some way to make the block mechanics relevant for 1.X. Having poisonshocklands (w/o basic land types) or painlands could give Infect a playable manabase while making the decks that try to abuse them pay a high price. Think about it, 10 initial 'life total' and you sacrifice 2 in every land drop against infect.dec, that would keep those lands in check and promote the block mechanics.
I understand your argument and i recall MaRo discussing it some time ago, but that was just before the extended major changes announcement, perhaps they have changed their minds?

probably a murmuring bosk type of land with condition to reveal a creature with infect?
one thing to note that has influenced my opinion is the allied lands, even the UB one are all Mirran allied. so this leads me to belive phyrexian may have at least some enemy lands.

They're probably going to reserve the reveal mechanic for another Tribal block. Those lands worked well for Tribal themes, but wouldn't lend themselves to Infect quite as easily (Zombies on the other hand...).

Aside from the whole Enemy Colors BS in your post that I snipped out, how are Enemy Colored lands unfair? They were around all the way back in Alpha, and the most commonly used ones are the UW and UB lands, both of which are allied colors.
Granted, any Blue Dual land is bound to be more expensive than the rest of the cycle, but I digress.
I think we'll probably see something just based on the fact that WoTC likes to enable the factions they create to be playable. If mirran is R/W and phyrexian is B/G then I would not be surprised to see lands that support that. just look at the wedgelands from the alara block for examples. I hope that wizards doesn't break them by making them legendary or some other such stupid nonsense.

"The smallest seed of regret can bloom into redemption."
Glissa, the Traitor pretty much confirms there will be a G/B duel (at least) how can we reliably pay BGG without an actual duel land?
I'm not sure about Scars of Mirrodin block standalone (although I suspect the answer would at some stage involve the words "mana myr"), but in a slightly broader context there's always Verdant Catacombs, Terramorphic Expanse and Evolving Wilds.
Then have him eat Nicol Bolas and the Magic universe can be awesome again. He takes over the Infinite Consortium and turns it into a trans-multiverse Izzet League. His agents scour the multiverse in Venser's planeships looking for magic to learn, technology to improve upon, and less intelligent people to condescend to.
Umm idk maybe with a swamp and two forest? Idk this is just such a conundrum on how we'll be able to pay for her.
i was thinking consistency. for an aggressive creature like this, it seems like being able to drop it on third turn might be an issue with fetchs (especially CIPT) yah, good luck. bop will be allstar. i have to admit i already love this card, so for enemy duels, my hopes are up

The name works, there's enemy lands, and it seems to make sense.

They aren't going to make alpha type duals in this block. If we get enemy color lands they will be just like Seachrome Coast and company.
@ Vengevine's Erasure-We already got a U/B and a B/R dual land in scars.And whats so "tainted" about U/R,U/G & W/R?

I can think of a time three have been made: Krosan Verge, Nantuko Monastery, Riftstone Portal.
At the same time I say that TS-block had two dual land cycles, but no dual land outside a cycle.
