Ok I was just thinking and talking this all over with some friends of mine. Vinelasher Kudzu would be incredible right now in Zen because of the hardcore agro and easy splashability but especially the fetchlands, so why not print him in either the next 2 sets?
Also onto Tarmogoyf. From what I have read and understand about all the Zendikar plane is that all Lhurgoyf come from the Zendikar plane. And with the rising cost of the card mostly due to the upcoming extended season i figured it seemed normal, but it seemed to be rising too fast if you ask me. Do the card stores and players know some inside info about Goyf being released in one of the next 2 sets?
Where did you hear that lhurgoyfs came from zendikar? And I think Terravore should show up in this block before Termogoyf, especially with all the fetches.
Its in the storyline/history/and I believe its in the book. Someone bash me if Im wrong. But I honestly cant remember where I found this info. I know that other goyfs have been around but that still doesnt mean they dont comefrom or originate from the Zendikar plane.

The books? You mean the book?
Maybe people have it early, but it's not scheduled to be released until April 6th.
I highly doubt Lhurgoys come from Zendikar, since none have been printed in ZEN.

Well I understand that its not out yet, I didnt say I read the book itself, but books go thru publishers and other people see the rough cuts and such. This is just information that I have come across. Take it as it is, no solid proof just speculation as of yet, thus I put it in the speculation forum.
Also I didnt say books... You even quoted my text and I wrote BOOK
I don't recall anyone from Wizards ever saying that the Lhurgoyfs originated on Zendikar. But then again, I never really looked into it.
However, I'm fairly certain that Wizards DID say that they would never, ever reprint Tarmogoyf. It's simply too good.
Also, while it would make sense mechanically, it's doubtful that Vinelasher Kudzu would be reprinted in this block, seeing as how Zendikar already introduced a better version.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.

But if you hit Kudzu turn 2 and play 3 fetches to turn 5 you already have a bigger creature. Turn 3 you have a 3/3 turn 4 a 5/5 etc. and thats not even counting if you go elves turn 1 and play kudzu turn 2 then play a fetch and you have a 3/3 turn 2 that says kill me fast or die. I could see them printing him here. Also dont forget the shenanegins you could pull off with him and Knight of the Reliquary.
When did wizards say that about Tarmogoyf? From what I understand, all future sighted cards will be printed in future sets. Correct me if Im wrong please.

This is a common misconception, not all futureshifted cards will be reprinted. In fact, Tarmogoyf's ridiculous power level is due to inadequate playtesting on Wizards part due to having to add it at the last minute to show off planeswalkers since they couldn't get the rules perfected in time. All a futureshifted card means is that some aspect of the card (flavor, mechanic, or both) were considered for print in the future...or just plain silly.

I love the flavor text on that card, like WotC is teasing us so hard because they know something we dont. And actually tarmogoyf was already designed with planeswalker in the rules text because they were going to future sight Garruk, but like you said they couldnt quite figure out how to make it right, but instead of changing goyf they just left it like that to tease people and make them wonder wtf is a planeswalker card.

That's a very big "if." Try playtesting a deck a few times with Vinelasher Kudzu, and let me know how many attempts it takes for you to drop the Kudzu on second turn, followed by three consecutive fetchlands.
True, if you're lucky with the land drops he'll say "kill me fast or die," but if you get the Kudzu at any time other than in the early game, all he says is "Have fun top-decking me with no more lands to play! I'm a 1/1 for the rest of the game, baby!"
EDIT: Also, while it does display some synergy with Crop Rotation on a Stick due to its pseudo-landfall ability, that's not a very rapid boost. Furthermore, it all ends as soon as eitheroneofthemdies.

And as far as goyf - no. NEVER again. They said printing it was a MISTAKE. He will never seed standard again. That's all Jund needs right now. Tarmogoyf. I cascaded into a 5/6. booya.

Actually Maro recently said that everyone's favorite 'goyf wasn't really a mistake. Sure, late development slot filler, but the FFL tested it and found it powerful, but apparently not too much so. They simply underestimated its effects in extended and beyond, and probably never foresaw decks being willing to splash green just to be able to play it. And even if you think its obviously incredibly powerful, there was a point that 'goyfy was only valued at $1, so they obviously weren't the only ones.

That's strange, since Lhurgoyf's were Scandinavian named, and Zendikar doesn't have any cards with Scandinavian names. No, I'd say the Goyf of all that is Tarmy will not be printed in WWK or ROE... or ever.

I HAVE played an Extended Landfall deck with Kudzu, and when you drop him turn 2 you can follow with 3 fetches about 75% of the time assuming you know how to build a deck. And lots of staples are bad topdecks, like Noble Hierarch.
Same thing with KotR. It's actually a very rapid power increase, since you sac a land to get a fetch then pop the fetch, then drop a land for your turn.

But I get what you are saying, I think the point is that Scute is already too similar and Kudzu might not get reprinted because of that.
