Creature - Bird 2GW
Whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, Bronzebeak Moa gets +3/+3 until end of turn.
They fight for their home with more loyalty than any conscripts.
Didnt see a thread about this yet, so decided to make one because it is one of the few cards that caught my eyes from the final spoils.
This card is very nearly constructed viable.
If you cast a lingering souls, it becomes a 14/14.
Most 'normal' token generators make it an 8/8.
Throw a rancor on it, and it is one bad-ass bird.
Only 'downside' is it contends with the overly filled 4cmc slot in those colours.

Give credit, where credit is due. Give irony and sarcasm, when ignorance and stupidity is found. The whip is kept for special occasions
The Internet was a revelation to me, I never imagined there are so many idiots on this planet.
Having this guy and Thragtusk out...then Restoing the Thragtusk. Jingle bells all the way right there.
One of the best final spoils, that much is for sure.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
Ugh, this is such a trap card. A 2/2 for 4, no thanks. How many creatures are you gonna have left in hand when you've got 4 mana? When is this good, with growing ranks and a token? Give me a break. I wouldn't play this unless I was incredibly desperate, and I would probably lose because of it. Might as well call it beguiler of wills. It's ****.
If the store owner says that I can't trade in the premises, I'll just go outside. If he says that I can't trade within 10m of his premises, I'll go to 11 meters. If he says that he doesn't want to see me trading, I will put a basket over his head and continue trading.
Yes, he's a local legend. He's only known to take his clothes off before he goes into the Ladies' Lockerroom. Nobody knows what he does in there because he's invisible, but it's almost certainly tons of masturbating.
Turn 1 irrelevant 1-drop. Turn 2 ZT Druid. Turn 3 Bronze Beak Moa. Turn 4 tap ZTD for Rancor on Moa, swing, resto angel the druid for +6/+6. They're at 8, you have a 4/2, a 3/4 flying, and a 1/1 that pings. Turn 4 play something that makes them not block, maybe some kind of detain thing, gg.

Yeah at 4 CMC, its a card that dies to removal without having any board impact. No constructed application. I mean shave 2 off the casting cost and you could just cast a voice of resurgence with that lingering souls of yours. It dies and gets a 5/5 minimum token, rather than a +12/+12 swing in a single turn that can be chumped
Honestly, I read it and thought; "Shouldn't this have been printed alongside Fists of Ironwood?"
The bird could be absolutely hilarious with any type of instant-speed token generation, but the lack of evasion to push it through means it's more than likely just going to be another chump-eater where more/better already exist without needing to meet any conditions (Looking at Smiter with that one). :s
Champion one turn, Moa the next, and then tokens (Increasing Devotion or whatever).
With Devotion, Champion gets 5 +1/+1 counters (plus the one from Moa so it's a 7/7), Moa gets +15/+15 and can't be blocked except by power 7 or greater. Swing for 22.
Could some kind of mass-tokens deck happen?

Quote from Skullum »
that's not what happened at all. kamahl stabbed phage, akroma, and some old lady and they became korona. then korona got stabbed by her "prophets" and kamahl got drunk with a mutant centaur
Its pretty good. Ran it in my Boros/Selesnya deck. I had the assemble the legions to go with it. If ever those 2 met it was game over quickly for my opponent.
I ran him as a one of in the prerelease. My guilds were selesnya and simic. He does need to sit for a turn but as a 4drop you should be trying to set him up. Rancor or armadillo cloak him and hold your populate for the next turn. Any game I played him, I easily made him a 8/8 which forces unfavorable blocks that your opponent must deal with at instant speed.

Even works well with Restoration Angel! Who would've thought?!

then again, itd be insaaane with flying.
Moas were giant non-flying birds from New Zealand, now extinct. It makes perfect sense to me.
There are many birds that cannot fly.
All I can think when seeing the art is Choo choo CHOCOBOOOO
shiooooooot.
I like silverblade paladin there myself. silver blad, rancor, swing
Turn 1 Land, Arbor Elf or Avacyn's Pilgrim.
Turn 2 Land, Arbor Elf or Avacyn's Pilgrim or Selesnya Keyrune or Selesnya Cluestone.
Turn 3 Land, Bronzebeak Moa , Rancor.
Turn 4 Land, Increasing Devotion, Swing 19/17 Trample...
This is borderline magical Christmas land, but could happen. makes for an interesting new standard!
Best Standard of all time was "Scars/12/Innistrad"
Fav Cards of all time: Geist of Saint Traft; Kaalia of the Vast
It's like "boom" Murder. Cuz it's damn slow.
Multiplayer Decks- Memnarch - Animar, Soul of Elements - Zur, the Enchanter - Atraxa, Praetors' Voice - Food Chain Tazri - Teysa Karlov
Modern BUMill and Bant Spirits.
Thank you Xenphire for the signature!

I also had some other pretty nutty things.
