This is generally a little early, but for me part of the fun of spoiler season is speculating on what decks you want to play, and as new cards that keep coming out, see how people tweak those idea or all in all jump ship from the idea. I would like to see some of the ideas people would want to build, and FORMAT does not matter. Standard, Modern, Legacy, Vintage, Commander this thread is open for all of them.
So as of the first week of spoilers have been out these are the decks I really want to build.
U/G Hexproof Deck Starring Invisible Stalker - This deck seems like it is going to thoroughly annoy a lot of people, and Hexproof plus swords and skull = sad face for a lot of people. I am interested in seeing how consistent I would be able to make the deck.
R/G Werewolves - I am a tribal nut, and Green is my favorite color in magic, so why not build the tribal deck that seems like it might not be super competitive but will be fun to build and tweek and see if they can be made to work.
U/B Control Starring Mindshrieker, Snapcaster Mage, Liliana Vess - I am not that much of a control player (not because I am not against control, but more to the fact yet lack the patience needed to play it well). However, Both Mindshriker and Snapcaster seems like it could be abused quite nicely, and being able to fill my gy with more counter spells, card draw and removal seems quite nice.
Proliferate Red/Sligh - Mainly because I want to live the dream and have Turn 1 Stromkirk Noble turn 2 Stormblood Bersker just wreck havoc.
Illusions feat Invisible Stalker - Having and unblockable, cant be target of spells, plus a deck that can potentially have 16 U lords seems like something that is just dying to be played. I love my illusions deck as it is and this card allows me to lower my curve (bye bye dragons).
WW - I know I am not the only one that feels that they have been printing some very good, cheap white human creatures that are just awesome on the ability front.

Yea, those are MTG Bars. What can I say, I am a dork
I was hoping the spirits were goin to be G/W instead of U/W so they would have support from Odyssey. Anyways, I suppose G/W/U may be feasible. I want to see how the spirits here will have synergy with ones from Kamigawa.
So far Im itching to play UB control (with the same cards you described) or Esper control (those cards + sun titan).
I'm also really thinking about building a slight deck with only 8 creatures (snapcaster mage and chandra's phoenix). So much time since I played a no creature oriented deck in standard...

Alea iacta est
I'm a Spike Vorthos - I love lore and flavor, but only if the cards are competition worthy.
I see U/B Control can be our new control archetype post-rotation. Although, i am more itching to see Puresteel Paladin decks/WW/Tempered Steel to spread out in many lgs, plus with the addition of potential Humans from ISD.
Illusions could also be a deck (at least in our place).
(I will still stick to my B/R color combination though, since both of them are my favorite colors - completing every B&R rares/mythics of Scars Block ).
For me, the card that caught my eyes first is Skirsdag High Priest (Simply because I start the preview later than other because of some circumstances LOL.). I really love the 5/5 dragon, I love dragon sooo much and black is a color that I really wanted to try (never tried this color before.). So, after thinking of ways that can generate dragon token as fast as I can and have a power force in the early game, I decided to use BR as the main color.
The archetype is really easy actually.
1. Mountain then a one drop, let's use Goblin Arsonist as the example.
2. Swamp then this guy.
3. Mountain then goblin war driver, dismember a creature then use the ability of the priest. create a dragon token.
4. A land then Heroes of Oxide Ridge. then the total force of 21 damage is created.
So after thinking this kind of risky but interesting combo. I try to build the deck with the cards that I have right now. (I didn't include the cards in the preview except for the priest, to make sure the more possibility.) and the archetype probably looks like this.
8 Mountains
8 Swamps
4 Dragonskull Mountain
4 Blackcleave Cliffs
=========the lands, I didn't balance the color but just simply do like this===
4 Goblin ArsonistR
4 Furnace ScampR
4 Goblin War DriverRR
4 Skirsdag High Priest1B (The main caster, dragon maker, the generator. YEAH YEAH)
3 Heroes of Oxide Ridge2RR (The So Called Power House)
1 Sheodred the Whispering One5BB (The late-game enabler, maybe there's better choice though)
4 Geth Verdict BB(Chose this rather than shock because it's targeting player not a creature, so it probably can solve some hexproof problem)
4 Arc Trail 1R
4 Go For the Throat 1B(You need to kill some guys, Seriously)
3 Dismember 1BB(T T, how to type mana of Phyrexian mana again? anyway....Just like what I said above You need to kill some guys.)
1 Life Finale 4BB(The Board Cleaner, not a wise choice, maybe there's a lot of better choices but I just can't think of other ways)
This archetype is just an example, I'm very sad though. Because I might not have enough money to buy all these cards to build the deck LOL
Anyway, There are still a lot of possibilities after the previews are all spoiled, but I guess the Stromkirk Noble is a better choice for the one drop. and maybe I should add a planeswalker like Liliana of the Veil
Other than this kind of archetype. I'm quite amused by the zombie archetype because of the spoiled cards really triggered my Johny minds. I'm just too excited for this block.
I am on the werewolves train. I am a fan of werewolves, their prices; not mad about transform, or their prices. Did I mention their prices?
Red/Green Duals
Instigator Pack
Kruin Outlaw
Daybreak Ranger
Mayor of Avrabuck
Moonmist
Birds
Incinerate
Maybe Garruk
Got to see the rest of the werewolves, but I'm excited for my new casual deck.
I'll finally be able to assemble a UBw permission control deck.
New enemy duals (much better than fetches)
Blue Sun's Zenith
Cancel
Mana Leak
Negate / Flashfreeze
Stoic Rebuttal
GftT
Doom Blade
Divine Offering
Consecrated Sphinx
New Jace guy (not so bad, can win the game really fast)
Possibly any good instant flashback (for even more card advantage).
DoJ / BSZ
With what we have seen so far I was thinking B/W control maybe tinting a little blue for a couple spells or card draw. Really depends onhow the mana base looks. With enemy duals it seems 3 colors should be doable.
B/G rock type decks seem viable too. Depends on how the speed of the format plays out tho.
I so wanna build an Olivia Anti-Vampire Vampire deck. Seriously, who'd'a thunk the best creature to give a Wooden Stake to would herself be a vampire...?
U/B Control Starring Mindshrieker, Snapcaster Mage, Liliana Vess - I am not that much of a control player (not because I am not against control, but more to the fact yet lack the patience needed to play it well). However, Both Mindshriker and Snapcaster seems like it could be abused quite nicely, and being able to fill my gy with more counter spells, card draw and removal seems quite nice.
WW - I know I am not the only one that feels that they have been printing some very good, cheap white human creatures that are just awesome on the ability front.
I think UB Control could turn out be pretty neat. Vengeful pharaoh seems like it could combo well with Mindshrieker and make your opponent really think about attacking you.
I think WW with Mentor of the meek, Puresteel Paladin, and Living Weapons will be very nice. Mentor is just what that deck needed for consistency.
Yeah I definitely want to figure some way to combines Puresteel and Mentor to some crazy shenanigans. Sword of War and Peace can gain you some crazy amount of life. Too bad Empyrial Plate isn't around. Trying to figure out what the best color combo is. Trinket Mage loses some of it's targets but still has Mortapod. Can't really run Honor of the Pure as it stops your white creatures from triggering your Mentor.
I'm really looking forward to running some kind of UB Control (since I have the Grave Titans, Consecrated Sphinxs, etc etc) but realize it's going to have to drastically change with the loss of Creeping Tar Pit as one of it's Win-Cons. The new Snapcaster Mage seems pretty neat for a good control element. I haven't run a WW deck in awhile so that could be fun, too. Tired of Valakut so be nice to play something different.
I'll be building a Werewolf Tribal, of course. The idea of seeing my army transform into Werewolves just feels SOOOO fun to me~
I'll be building a Black/Green Morbid deck. Mainly, because I want to enchant my Boneyard Wurn with Wreath of Gheists and maybe equip Bonehoard, for the lulz.
I'll be playing U/G Hexproof at some point, just because...how can I NOT? I'll be able to use the Stalker, Snappy, Mana Leak...and then green it up with Trollhide, Sacred Wolf, Wreath of Geists... I love it~
I'll be trying a Pod deck for the first time when Innistrad rotates in. I want to try the new concept(to me) with the new set~

Currently Getting Back into the swing of MTGS. Bear with me folks~
I want to build an Empire deck (three items from M12 with "Empire" in its name) with +1/+1 stuff from ISD. Aslo I want to build u/b zombie and r/g werewolves.
So this guy's telling you that his family is going to be tossed out on the street penniless and starving and his dog is going to be kicked repeatedly if you don't give him a positive feedback...and he still won't honor the original deal?

It's already solid and hoping it will get more so as additional cards are spoilt.
