I always thought the 10th Edition Goblin token was a bit provocative, myself. Talk about assembling a contraption...
That's so dirty, it got censored :p!

As for dirty cards, I personally owned a couple Clergy en-Vecs and never once picked up on how dirty the card was. Although, that is the first thing I thought of when I saw the prerelease Demigod of Revenge, but I think that's the coloring as much as the shape.
I feel like a lot of you guys are reaching in terms of finding obscenity. The obscene-like cards are out there, but most of these just aren't really close to the obscene threshold. I mean, you guys basically have everywurm out there as being obscene.

That's hair. Uh.. thanks for sharing?
So didn't need that thought even though it's not what you think it is.

I feel compelled to mention Clergy en-Vec. Yeah, it's not on the card and yeah it might have been a mistake in cropping, but the flavor text says otherwise.
INTO THE RAY OF THE SUN, MARCH OUR HERO, HUNTING THE DARKLORD, REBORN FROM THE BLOOD OF HIS GOD... HIS GOD... THE WARMASTER KRON.
RIDE FOR THE FALL OF HIS POWER FIGHTING THE STORM, THE ROAR OF THE THUNDER, ALLY OF THE SUN AND THE MOON... GREAT SWORDMASTER RULE!
For those wondering why anyone is the least bit concerned, remember that not so long ago Magic was on somewhat shaky ground as far as being dubbed the "great corrupter of youth" (in the comic book/video game/fantasy novel scapegoat family). Earthbind was actually taken out of the core set specifically because of its artwork (and remember also that Unholy Strength has its pentacle removed, and demons were banished from the game for many years).
As far as the worst offender is concerned, I'm somewhat surprised that noone has mentioned the original Anson Maddocks Breeding Pit yet, and Delraich was known (at least locally) as the "****** monster" long before The Unspeakable was a gleam in the Kamigawa design team's eye.
Inkfathom Infiltrators has had the Grendel's Mother treatment as well, though it fortuitously doesn't ruin the piece- and did anyone else find it a little perplexing that Beowulf had extremely detailed and realistically rendered nipples, yet Grendel's Mother was so smooth as to completely wreck the character design- before considering the aesthetic atrocity of her having stiletto heels grafted anachronistically into her anatomy.
At least the boartusk doesn't have a red mana battery between its legs...

I was suprised to see one return. prismatic omen. It doesn't have the circle but I was suprised that it even came close to resembling the unholy strength

Incorrect:
The unholy strength one is the demons pentagram
2 points up one point down*almost like an arrow pointing to hell*
The one on the prismatic omen is the other side of it.
There are TONS of meanings to this star:
Its related to Wicca, Pagans, Good, Protection, the 5 elementals, and there is as much as some have a hard time believing BUT its also connected to older Christian beliefs in a good way*before they decided to turn it upside down and relate it to demons and hell*

I'm certain you are correct. I am curious what the star was used for. I would guess any use of Christian symbol in a mystical sense was probably an esoteric use. As the texts have an iconoclastic bent (at least in theory if not practice), most symbols are more pragmatic than revered. For instance, the xenthus, cross and rx symbols all relate to a history rather than a power inherent to its depiction. (Granted, not all Christians believe this and do revere symbols and images.)
And I thought the correlation of the upside star to Satanism was strictly the invention of the guy who wrote the satanic bible. And having read the satanic bible, I understood him to be saying he contrived the satanic religion mostly as a rejection of the Church. So, one could say the satanic use had a contrived origin. (Kinda like christmas trees in fact!)
Granted, many Christians tend to equate anything non-Christian as "satanic". Not saying that as a slam, as I am a Christian myself, but I also recognize the theological complexity imbedded in people's choices.

Yes. Sand dollar. Symbol of Christ's Passion for about 1800 years.
EDIT: When you break open a dry Sand Dollar, out come 5 tiny shell doves, symbol of the Holy Spirit.
Wow, never caught that before, that made me lol!

娑羅雙樹の花の色、
盛者必衰のことわりをあらはす。
おごれる人も久しからず、
唯春の夜の夢のごとし。
たけき者も遂にほろびぬ、
偏に風の前の塵に同じ。

Lost Soul got me into the game. Kind of fitting, really.
Seriously...look at the rather large woman on the bottom...then look up and to the left to see what she's "riding"...;).
Cheers,
Austin
Either that or he has a goblin fetish... *shudder*
Hewo wittle fishy!
The little mushrooms behind her also add to that illusion.
