Teysa is Darien-esq with a little higher cost and more protection.
The Gatekeeper cycle seems pretty good. 4 toughness was a sweet spot in GTC. We'll see how the p/t numbers play out in DGM though. I hope there are more cards that interact with gates. Wizards said their intention with this set was to slow down the pace; enabling gates by putting them in the land slot is fun, flavorful and does just that.
Teysa, looks like she's gonna have to go in my reanimator deck for that cost but she is sweet. Bit disappointed though, was hoping I could put her in more decks but that mana cost is just too much

New Teysa is nowhere near as good as her old card. She's a potential reanimation target for Junk Rites against aggro but frankly Angel of Serenity usually does it better on a bigger, flying body. She has no real place in control either thanks to Supreme Verdict being a card.
To those who say she's overcosted, really? She's an unblockable attacking and defender who can't die to creatures and will you not only kill any creature that hurts you, you also get a flier! Once Grissy rotates out she will be the new reanimator target.
