Everyone knows that good luck and good game are such insincere terms that any man who does not connect his right hook with the offender's jaw on the very utterance of such a phrase is no man I would consider as such.
Last I checked naturalize was in Green. "Destroy target enchantment" is definitely a green ability.
last I checked smelt was in red. "Destroy target artifact" is definately a red ability.
Both charms make sense in the color pie.
i agree with you that destroying an enchantment is a green ability, and black white will have more to work with on that charm, but disenchant is definitely a white card.
It's not that Green can't destroy enchantments. It sure can, but it's not the #1 color in doing that anymore. Green is #1 in Naturalize effects, while Red is #1 in artifact hate and White is #1 in enchantment hate alone. Latest core set: Smelt, Erase (which is Demystify, they chose Erase because of Rancor) and Naturalize. Shows this pretty clearly. Rakdos Charm destroying artifacts is ok-ish, Gruul Charm would be the best home for the effect but at least Smelt is a primarily Red effect. Demystify being 1/3 of Golgari Charm makes no sense, it should have been in one of the W/x Charms.
They're not out of the pie, but Golgari Charm is an unnecessary stretch just to give tools to Zombies versus Detention Sphere and Rest in Peace. In any normal world, the White charms would be candidates for part Demystify, not the Green ones.
Your examples are mostly of old or mid-old cards. Hexhunter is a hybrid card, Lyrist wouldn't be a card today. Emerald Charm? Mirage Block as reference? Come on. MaRo and others have stated pretty clearly that White is #1 on enchantment hate, and that Green would be getting the Naturalizes and occasional artifact hate, but not Demystifies alone.
Like I said to the other poster: M13 has Smelt, Naturalize and Erase (Demystify). That is the correct, or more correct, pie division.
It is flavorful for the Golgari Charm to have destroy enchantment. So far it is Selesnya and Azorius that have heavy enchantments, and both have a thing against Golgari. Not to mention that Rest in Peace is the bane to graveyard decks.
IMO, each guild charm is "deceptively" strong. As per Deceptive Pitmage's flavor text. I'm assuming, we'll come to appreciate every charm's aspects and uses as the entire RtR Block is released in the future.
Unless Wizards intends or releases a way to ramp/abuse/cheat/etc. that Mythic Rare Dragon into play, it'll join the train of janky, if not, unplayable previous mythics. Here's hoping someone can break it. I like dragons =]

for those saying that the dragon is good in kaalia think again
kaalia skips attack triggers when she cheats stuff into play. if people are gonna let it stick for a turn then thats their deal, but that dragon should be hated off the table pretty fast

Seriously. But keep in mind that they're just kaalia players. We can't all be geniuses.

You just described part of the reason WHY it's good in Kaalia. I mean, other people were misunderstanding the rules, but that deck is all about dropping targets that need to be answered and keeping people off Kaalia. It's not as insane as some of the targets, but I don't think it's a bad one by any stretch.
In magical Christmas land, I would like to play the dragon in Frites with Rakdos, after Rakdos swings, drop this fatty for 2 red. With this guy, the wurm that makes a 5/5, and the new angel, running Rakdos in Frites wouldn't be such a bad idea now, would it?
And the Golgari Charm is awesome, that is some great utility. It's definitely maindeck for Zombies and probably a must have for any decks that just lose to wrath effects. Curious to see what decks end up running it.

“My abusive words are filled with forty grams of copper, twenty five grams of zinc, fifteen grams of nickel, five grams of embarrassment and ninety seven kilograms of spite.”
Golgari charm is pretty much what we needed. The Hellkite is so awesome. I don't think it's constructed playable, but Holy Toledo, Batman, can that thing become an awesome problem!? Plus, the artwork is really cool, too.
^^This. Normally I could care less about dragons unless they're really functional (see: steel hellkite), but this guy is such a BAMF. Deal with it or dreadfully suffer the consequences. Might have to dub him "event promoter" because he brings friends, who in turn bring their friends, etc ....makes the party happen.

I mean, hell, we're all on a forum for something that most people would describe as a "children's card game"...do what makes you happy. You are never too old to enjoy yourself.
The dragon is amazing for mono red EDH. It is a threat that can single handedly carry the game away. No ETB sucks but red loves haste. I may have to break down and buy a paper card again for my one paper EDH deck that is still together.
Wizards print good rares, players complain about cash grab. They print underwhelming rares, players complain that the cards suck. They spoil the best cards first, players complain about the insane prices of preorders. They spoil the meh cards first, players complain that this is the worst set ever.
So. I think I understand now.
As far as these forums are concerned, WotC can never do anything good because:
Card that is new and probably good = "pushed"
Card that is new and probably bad = "EDH/casual fodder"
Card that is a reprint = "lazy"
Card that is a better version of an older card = "power creep"
Card that is a weaker version of an older card = "worthless"
To an extent, the Dragon could actually have immediate impact once it hits the battlefield. If you have another dragon in play, attack with it, you get the 6/6. I really like him and I hope I pick one up out of a booster or something. Probably eventually make a casual dragon deck or something.
It's understandable blue control players would be shocked and in denial at the notion of this card, since their decks have been dominating multiple formats for an eternity yet they've curiously never once had to deal with any counter-hosers that weren't ineffectual, narrow CRAP.
Mutilate really gains in value vs. Golgari's Regenerate all Effect, whereas white and red suffer bigtime with their mass removal.
I havent used true killcards in my constructed decks in forever, as a black player, a use Mutilate, Sever the Bloodline and Tragic Slip instead, same effect, but with alot less risk as fewer things can get in their way.

Don't you realize the people who run the site have lives?
- To my youngest sister when she was 6.
That is understandable. What is strange is that there have been cards that were spoiled after these are have been added to the list.

Thanks, not sure why but for some reason i thought we had the extra 2 X-Spells.
